I took the skin off the knuckles of my right hand before deciding to buy this right tool for the job of replacingthe discs and pads on the rear of my 2005 Golf GTi 2.0 Turbo. But here's the tip. Dont be tempted to buy the longer shank versions as you simply will not have the clearance - infact, powered by a standard socket wrench it only just made it using this small size. The brake caliper on the Golf is really, REALLY tight and this tool bit was kicked and beaten with a rubber hammer before it moved the stubborn bolt. My point? Its TOUGH really tough and never at any time did it look like it was going to slip or sheer. Very highly recommended and if you are a VW owner, essential!

Very strong, ideal for shock clamp bolt and rear calipers on Mk5 Golf's don't worry about clearance issues or the them being able to take some heft leverage; they are more than up to the job, hats off to Laser once more!
