With a penchant for both travelling, and writing, I started a blog (www.lasandcolgotexan.com) during my first relocation to Houston, Texas and, since repatriating to Northern Ireland, I decided to take everyone's advice and finally write a book (or two) and get published.
My first book, Bloom Where You're Planted (life the expat way) is part-memoir, part how-to guide and tells the tales of my life as an expat over the last decade.
I love baking, travelling, singing and Krav Maga. I love making friends out of strangers and living life to the fullest!

But when he falls during a game, Jeremy finds himself laid-up with a potentially career-ending injury and his support network, suddenly gone. His best friend, AJ, is busy in a new relationship, his teammates are pursuing their own dreams of hockey stardom, and Jeremy is left frustrated, broken and alone.
Will their friendship survive AJ’s new relationship? Are Jeremy’s feelings for Chelsea truly a thing of the past? And can he persevere through his recovery to get back on the ice?
Life is looking pretty darn peachy.
But when his world is turned upside down by a tragic loss, merely surviving each day feels like an achievement. How can he get through college and keep his budding career on track when all he wants to do is drink and squander his parent’s fortune? Can he convince Chelsea he’s a changed man when he seems so intent on his own destruction?

Will Lisa and AJ ever get alone time again?
Attempting to navigate the waters of being both newlyweds and new parents in their ‘happily ever after’, Lisa and AJ adjust to their new life together in Alabama.
Will AJ ever put his laundry in the laundry basket and not next to it? Will Lisa ever adjust to the land of sweet tea and under-boob sweat? Will their lives forevermore be about poop?
** Warning ** Book ends on a cliffhanger!!
But when she meets a seemingly too-good-to-be-true doctor, she feels both unsure of herself and guilty for moving on so quickly from her engagement to AJ.
Lisa finds herself at a cross roads, does she give up all hope of ever reconciling with AJ and take a chance on love again with someone new? Or is her heart destined to be forever entwined with the married man she met on the internet?
Relationships are complicated. Long distance ones, even more so.
When Lisa Millar met AJ Williams online through mutual friends, she wasn’t prepared to fall in love with the man of her dreams. She was even less prepared to discover that he already had a wife. In a heart-wrenching story of love attempting to transcend miles, Lisa finds herself pregnant and on the wrong side of the Atlantic from the man she loves.
Will their love conquer all? Or will the intricacies of a relationship woven across the Atlantic be too much to take and tear them apart once and for all?
(Warning: This book ends on a cliff hanger)
