Product Description

Platform:PC

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and the first-ever four-player co-op experience with Lara Croft. Featuring stunning visuals and a brand-new story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris takes place deep in the deserts of Egypt. In her new adventure, Lara must join forces with rival treasure hunter Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis, to defeat the evil god Set. As Lara and her companions fight the elements of nature across the sands and through ancient tombs, they will battle legendary deities and creatures of myth. With the fate of the world at stake, Lara must recover the fragments of Osiris to stop Set from enslaving all mankind.

Specifically went for the boxed version, but on insertion found that I needed to not only install steam, but also download 2.7gb of updates before the game would play - these were not optional. When I buy a disc, I don't mind needing to connect to the Internet for registering the product Id, but this is ridiculous - they should not be advertising as a dvd game if it cannot be played on the strength of the dvd

This seems like your average twin stick shooter with lara croft stuck on it. Not played it for long but havent been blown away by it.
The gold edition is worth getting for £10 though as you get the season pass which gives more levels etc.
I think this game will be better played with a group as playing alone it just feels boring.

The Gold edition extras are awful, the art book is tiny and consists of about 10 pages, the Lara figure is made of the cheapest plastic you could imagine and the map may as well be printed on tracing paper. The box however, is reasonable quality.

I wouldn't waste money on the Gold edition, unless you really want a disc to install from.

The game is ok, although, I did prefer GoL

I've now completed the game and a few points I'd like to add;

The loot system is pretty bad, open a chest and you may or may not get a decent item.
The only way to see how many objectives you've completed for each tomb is by entering the tomb.
the puzzles are way too easy, most of them are a dumbed downed GoL puzzle.
Multiplayer is broken.

What the heck is this pile of junk, having played Definitive Edition and loved it, I bought this and found it to be a pile of arcady trash.
Awful game, sullies the whole Lara Croft/Tombraider franchise.

It was not a direct hands-on control of Lara, but played all the characters from overhead view (Iike Guardian of the Light - no good).
If somebody wants it still boxed, complete, unused, I'll accept any reasonable offer (UK only).

This game has totally ruined the franchise.

I have every Lara Croft game on PC. The last - although a progression - was good.

This one - it's an isometric game - the Lara figure is tiny and moves jerkily. After installing it and trying to play for ten minutes I will be throwing it in the bin and never playing it again.

I will never again my a Tomb Raider game - VERY disappointed with what was my main Christmas Present!
