While I am not a linguist, just a very interested amateur, this book has to be THE definitive book on the subject. And it is so well written that, with a very little work (research re: terms) any lay person, like myself, can learn about the fascinating Inuit language. Along with with some very important cultural changes, through the years, also mentioned. Thank you, M. Dorias, for your 40 years of hard work. You have written a classic in the field of linguistics.
