Product description

Review

For anyone interested in the coil-sprung Land Rovers that have served (and still serve) with the British armed forces, this book is a must. This extensively illustrated book looks at British military use and adaptations of these vehicles and as well as contain gin comprehensive vehicle lists, serial number and contract details, there are details special variant including some non-operation prototypes. The book is a sequel to British Military Land Rover, the leaf-sprung models, by the same two authors. --Classic Land Rover

It's an authoritative publication that will have huge appeal to both Land Rover and military enthusiasts alike. From considerable lists of military asset codes to chapters on the main conversions and applications, this is an important volume of reference material. It is, of course, packed with images worthy of inclusion, and helps to illustrate the huge variety of vehicles in service. It's certain to be a book you return to if your interest extends to post-leaf-sprung Land-Rovers and Range Rovers. --Classic & Sports Car

Fans of military, especially militaria transport, will love the fine detail into which this excellent tome delves as it details what is often regarded as the British Armed Forces most favoured mode of transport. --Iain P W Robertson, Freelance
