Like all of you - I was brought to this drink by Parks and Recreation - but I'm so glad I was

This is by no means a subtle dram - a very complex and smoky whisky - not for a beginner at all. Puts me in mind of a Laphroaig

The 20cl size is ideal if you're like me and like to sample many different whiskeys

Only downside is the cork is reasonably easy to break with being so thin - the top came off mine within 2 measures so now it's just the cork sticking out of the top - not a deal breaker as the bottle is still sealed but worth noting if this were to be on display

Stop - before you buy... £25 for a bottle of this would be a steal... if it wasn't a 20cl bottle! Great whisky... but not at this price.

Lovely peaty almost chewy flavour. Quite the best of the Islay stable. Wish I could afford to buy it more often.

Ordered probably the 5th bottle of Lagavulin in 3 years today as a gift for Father's day. This is a very intense, smoky and peaty whisky which certainly packs a punch!

I normally enjoy a glass of Chivas or Whyte and Mackay, so this was a very taste experience when I first tried it a number of years ago. Personally not something that I could drink all evening due to the strength, but my parents could certainly finish the bottle if left unattended all night!

The presentation of the bottle as always is fantastic and for under £30, certainly ideal as a gift for any older family members who enjoy the odd tipple.

All in all, I'm no whisky expert but this is a very robust and interesting drink, certainly one which should at least be tried once!
