This is my first experience with this product -L'Oreal for Men Comfort Max. Having used it for over a week -I have found it to work extremely well. It does have a hydrating effect which I was aware of, after shaving and importantly did not leave me with a sticky 'feel.' Moisturising, is particularly important at any time of the year, but especially so in the winter.
Facially, I have sensitive skin and pleasingly have found this to be perfect. Absolutely, no rashes or adverse reactions whatsoever.
It has a refreshing feel and leaves your skin not feeling taut. The fragrance is masculine, pleasant but not overpowering
So, I feel confident in recommending this product.
The L'Oréal Vitalift 5 is a very good product it is not too thin, compared to other products I use, such as the Weleda. It is designed to be used every morning after you cleanse your face. It is a non-greasy formulation and leaves a matt effect on the skin. Whilst it is not designed for sensitive skin and I have had no reaction to it so far. You only need a small amount each day and so the small bottle will last quite a while. So how good is it? L'Oréal make my absolute favourite Biotherm range, which is very expensive, has a refreshing smell, lasts a long time and works brilliantly. This product is not in the same ball-field as any Biotherm product, but then again its a quarter of the price. My next favourite is the Weleda moisturiser, which is about double this products price. Again the L'Oréal product is simply not quite as good as this product, its a bit thinner in consistency and it just does not feel as rich. My skin feels much softer after I have used the Weleda. The problem is no two skin types are exactly the same and what works for one, may not work for another. As far as this product is concerned, it is good, low priced but is not quite as good as a Biotherm or Weleda product.
Very Good but for me not the best.
I have started using L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Sensitive Wash - 150 ml to clean my face and neck properly, however it does dry my skin out a little too much with its cleansing (it could also be an age thing). So this is where the Comfort Max moisturiser comes in. Started with a little, as it seems to go a long way and it rubs in easily and no greasy feeling afterwards. Used with a good face wash, this product (despite it's wild claims) does go a long way to keeping your face safe from the elements.
The pump action bottle doesn't dump too much cream into your hand in one go, so wastage is minimal and should last most of the winter. Why didn't I think of doing this earlier?
This particular comfort max product comes in a smart white dispenser, which cleverly produces the right amount of moisturiser with one push at the top of the cylinder. It works very effectively as a post shave balm or as a general moisturiser. It keeps sensitive skin calm all day after a shave, and it not at all oily or greasy - you simply work it in to the face and forget about it. I have found most competing products to be very greasy and difficult to be dispense without using too much.
The 50ml size is particularly suitable for travel, as it's a lightweight container and too stays on securely.
Overall, an excellent product for those seeking a moisturise or post shave balm for sensitive skin.
In winter the combination of drying winds and indoor central heating can make his skin quite tight and sore; L'Oreal Comfort Max appeared an ideal solution.
The scent is nicely masculine, but won't overpower any aftershave used, the light cream-gel rubbed in very easily.
I tried some on the back of my hand and was impressed, for a product promising high hydration there is no greasy feel and it is very pleasant to use.
The rugged grey and orange packaging won't look out of place on the bathroom shelves or in a kitbag at the gym or changing rooms. This product may be one to convert those men who fight shy of using moisturisers, it's a real quality product that eases discomfort.
A simple press of the top releases a small amount of moisturizer which goes a long way. This cream is easily absorbed into the skin and it is very mild having no discernible scent.
Dry skin is perked up and refreshed and left soft and sleek.
This cream is so good and skin feels so smooth afterwards that this is an excellent choice especially if you have dry skin. Especially good if your face is out in all weathers.
