Emma Daniels knows how to do it!!! I think the book was pretty cool and well written. I like the fact that they get to choose which time they stay in and would have preferred the brother to suffer a bit more and maybe the father stay alive longer to say he was sorry and all. But overall, highly recommended nice novella and love the plot :) Pretty decent read!!! Worth the 5*

This is an interesting story to read. The plot is good and the authors ability to tell a story is also good. However for me silly editing mistakes do detract from the flow of the story, when are these authors who expect us to pay for their work, going to proof read what they have written, which will eliminate such errors as gender and even in one instance a name from nowhere came into the story, completely bizarre. One or two errors I can forgive, but this story is littered with mistakes. Shame really, more care Ms Daniels needs to be taken.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 16 Nov. 2010
By Paranormal Kiss - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Lord of My Dreams by Emma Daniels is a great book. I loved it. The book is about Drew who has spent the past 500 years being tortured in a version of hell by a demon name Demeana. He is sent back to the present world every 100 years and given a month to atone for his sins. It is his 5th time back when he meets Caitlin. She and her friend Maddie find him naked in the middle of the road shivering and weak. They end up taking him with them and give him some clothes and a place to sleep. That same night Caitlin begins having dreams of a woman named Catherine who lived 500 years ago. The story unfolds from there and you'll read about what's going on in the present as well as what happened in 1509.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was executed perfectly. I usually don't like when books jump around with the time line because it can often times detract from the main story or the flow of the book. That wasn't the case with this book. The story never felt interrupted or fragmented. The time changes were written into the story so well it added rather then detracted. The dreams that Caitlin had of Catherine just flowed effortlessly within the story. It was beautifully done and I enjoyed reading about both periods of time.

This is a love story. One that is charming as well as poignant. It is about the characters finding themselves as well as each other. Learning to love and trust each other. It caught me from the first page and just got better the more I read. The writing was excellent and the story was wonderful. I liked everything about this book. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story 8 Feb. 2011

This book was much better than most I have read this month, and that's been a lot! Very intriguing the way it flashes to the past and back again, but not confusing at all.
The only negative comment I have is that it needed an editor that actually corrected errors. It seems that most of my Kindle books have needed better editors.

3.0 out of 5 stars 3 1/2 stars It's likeable... 17 April 2011

This is the second book that I have read by Emma Daniels. It's obvious that this author tried really hard in creating a complex story. However, I found myself losing interest in certain sections and skimming ahead. I think the problem lays in her inability to really make the present characters click. It needed more development and it was often predictable. I have great hopes for the author because I do plan to read more of her stories.

For the price, this is worth the time. Her storyline will hook you!

I just finished reading this book and i loved it.Loved how the aouther mixed in Cathrine's life with Catlin's was not comfused at all.Drew is an awsome character and I love when you feel happy for the charctes when thingts go right for them or when justice is served.Catlin's issue could have been played up more i think but the book was good and i would recomend this book nto people who like time travel romance books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantely surprised. You will be too. 19 Dec. 2011

Well, lemme start by saying that I am NOT usually a paranormal/fantasy/time travel romance fan. I like my good ol' basic novels of love and lust. However, this one was intriguing...so much so that I want more of her novels. It's not too bad. I don't necessarily believe the demons and torture and purgatory thing, but it makes for an interesting plot twist that I enjoy. The things I love most in a romance novel are affection, equality in both sexes (not a pushover woman or chauvinistic man) and more depth then just sex, sex, sex. Great job on the novel; please just try it and give it a chance. You might find yourself in love with it. I mean hey, we love movies about time travel/fantasy and romance....why not novels?
