Thin and lightweight. I got the white color, and .... I love it. :) My husband has the black one and it seemed to me to be serious, while I like the white because it is more fun. I use it with a MacBook Pro and it worked well, right out of the box. I have so far used it to download CDs onto my iTunes. I have not used it as a writer as yet. The item arrived on time as promised and it was packed securely. Packaging was undamaged so if you bought it to give as a gift it's ready for wrapping. I've attached pictures showing the item and packaging with a CD (for scale). I haven't peeled off the protective covering on the item, hence the showing air bubbles. But the item itself is smooth.

flawless and very silent and smooth works perfect with my MacBook Pro mid 2014 my Samsung writer from around 2009 had started playing up on ripping the latter tracks (towards the end) but was about 8 years old so i thought it may have been the CD but i bought this LG tried the disc and it ripped through the entire disc quiet like butter no stutter no intermittent playing.By Ady on 3 January 2018
