So easy to use

So long as you have the original LG charger that came with the phone, or use a fairly high powered one, it should work well.
Doesn't charge quite as fast as plugging the charger directly into the phone, but it is so easy to leave the cradle permanently plugged into the charger and just sit the phone in the cradle to charge it at the end of each day.
The charger only consume electricity of any significance when it is actually charging the phone. Perhaps another reason to use the original charger if leaving it permanently plugged in. I would not like to leave a cheap unbranded charger from China plugged in permanently. I suppose you could always switch off the charger at the wall socket, but that does kind of eliminate one of the great benefits of a wireless charger.

This wireless charger came in an LG branded box and seems to me to be the real thing and not a copy as it charges superbly. You need a genuine LG travel charger connected to the wireless charger for it to work properly however. A REAL bargain price wise on Amazon it must be said. Go for it all you lucky G3 owners!.

Purchased for my other half, it works fine and all, but I ended up purchasing a flat charging base instead as this requires that you have your phone standing up whilst on charge which is not very convenient if you plan on using it besides the bed. You risk knocking the phone over when reaching across to silence the alarm.

I didn't quite realise at the time of purchase that you couldn't fold the charger flat and still use it either, which is a huge shame and something of a missed opportunity.

Worthwhile so long as you want a standing charger, otherwise I recommend a flat base instead.

what can I say. you set your G3 on the cradle. it charges quickly. very pleased with it - didn't realise at the start that even if your mobile is switched off when you place it on the cradle, it will start up when you place it on the cradle. So I now switch off sound, wifi and data at night when I set the G3 on for charging. highly recommend

Until recent software updates improved battery performance managing battery was really hard and this really helped.

It does wirelessly charge but only just, you have to position the phone perfectly on the dock for it to work, not just shove it on like some other chargers. the actual quality is nice, it flips open like an old phone and has a soft rubber holder for the phone meaning no damage to the casing.
