Top customer reviews
The pages are white whereas the moleskine are cream/yellowish. These come in a variety of colours where the moleskine art only black and red. I do appreciate the variety. All in all, very similar but I think this is more suited to me. Good sketchbook. Good quality paper, I do primarily use it with copic/alcohol markers which do bleed through but as long as you use backing sheet then it is fine. bottled inks I haven't had any bleed as applied lighter and less layers. I have used a little watercolour in it and there is some small warping but not much.
They are a bit pricey but it all depends on your financial situation and how much if a hobbyist you are, if just starting out with drawing then I would go for cheaper sketchbook, if longer term hobby and you want something to keep for years and work with a variety of mediums then yes this could be for you.
If you are looking at it not for art but more notetaking/writing, I would look at their notebooks where the paper is thinner but many more pages so it will last much longer.
Plenty of pages
Smooth thick pagea great for blending pencil not so great for watery media
I use for realistic portrait
I find it like my moleskin ( just with white pages instead of yellowish tint )
