Having bought another Isogawa Lego book recently, I was slightly nervous about purchasing this one. However, I had nothing to worry about. As a genuine 'ideas' book for expanding the possibility of Lego Mindstorms EV3 (a birthday present from my wife), this book does 'exactly what it says on the tin'. If you want step-by-step instructions, like you get with Lego sets, then you will be disappointed, but the pictures are fairly self-explanatory (with extra pictures for the more complex ideas) and the ideas are comprehensive!

If you're not sure how experienced this author is then look him up on YouTube. The book is instructive and inspired. He writes an intro and then the rest is pictures only. The pictures are clear and the ideas are conveyed without needing words anyway.
Yoshihito is a Lego genius.

A really impressive book. I've been playing with Legos on and off for 12 years now, and must say some of the ideas in this book are borderline genius! An impressive book in every possible way, even paper quality-wise.

So many interesting ideas. Helps me to build robots efficiently.
Could have been better if there were more ideas for vehicles but I guess they are in another book of him. Will try them.

Excellent book, very pleased with it. Lots of great ideas (requiring no extra bits) & plenty of stimulus for further new ideas to be developed.
