I bought this game for my daughter for Christmas. The best enjoyment out of this game so far is the building of it as it is straight forward.

The rules on how to play this game is very difficult to follow and understand and as a result have been unable to complete this game and get into it like the other lego games we've bought such as Pirate Plank and Sun Block.

I suppose the only thing I can think of is if you try and improvise where possible and play this game more to your own rules.

Good luck.

I picked this up very cheaply in Toys R Us, because I decided that even if the game wasn't any use, there were lots of lovely little LEGO coins, bottles and jewels which I knew my son would love to play with. As it turned out, this is a great little game. It's all about trading, and accruing money. My 7 year old got the hang of it immediately, and had great fun beating his dad and me. Nothing new there, mind you! It's definitely worth getting this game - although I'm not sure I'd say it was worth full price.

Nice little Lego game. The general idea is that according to your dice rolls you spend your starting 3 pieces of gold on buying items of different colour. When selling these items you earn more gold. You can only sell items of one colour each round and you earn most by having several items of the same colour. Sometimes the dice alows you to swap an item with another player or close one of the market places selling only specific items of one certain colour. A little tactical skill are required in order to make it best for you and worst on you opponents. The winner is the first to get 15 gold pieces and since you can see all items that other players have, you will be able to adjust your game accordingly. The game is quit short, and most times also close between opponents.

NB: There are ALOT of very small pieces in the game. You need to keep track of these. However, I have not yet tried to use up all items of one colour, so the game actually is still good ("complete") even if you loose a few :-). I play with children aged 3 and 6. However, you need to watch the youngest as they like to play with the small items. Older children will also find this game fun.

I industriously built this ,as you do with lego games and then couldn't figure out how to play it!

The previous reviewer must understand something I don't - or must have inferred something from the instructions. As far as I can tell, you each get three coins and then are obliged to spend them - nothing told me why on earth I would want to spend my money - and there was nothing to say that the players needed to collect items either, just the coins. For the first time ever, I am totally flummoxed by a child's game and can't be bothered trying to figure it out.

Minotaur game much more fun!
