Great game, shame the second player can only play with an old Wii remote and nunchuk. Also needs sensor bar for 2nd player.

I don't understand the point in Nintendo releasing a new console and then forcing people to use its predecessors accessories.

It's a great Lego game with unfortunately lots of bugs on the Wii U. However, still, we had a great fun playing it with my girlfriend.

Lego Batman 2 is a great game in a very tired lego gaming franchise. It doesn't breath new life into the format but it can be enjoyed if you give it the time. Has just enough going for it to see you through.

Playing co-op with one person having the gamepad and another a wii mote and tv is great fun.

I recommend this is if you've finished the superior Lego City: undercover and are looking for more of the same.

Ps. No issues found with the games save function.

This may look like a child's game but it certainly is not. My wife and I are not very experienced gamers but this one has got enough challenges to keep us on our toes and to move us along the experience scale. The game is best played by two players although initially the split screen effect does cause problems. After a while and with good communication between the players this is easily overcome.
Well worthwhile getting and this was a follow up to 'City Undercover' which was an excellent game in it's own right.

“Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes” is a Lego action-adventure videogame that serves as a sequel to “Lego Batman: The Videogame”. This game offers an open-world environment, in which players can explore Gotham City. There are 70 playable characters to choose from (you unlock them as you proceed) – and you can select from a wide range of superheroes and villains, from Superman, the Flash, and Wonder Woman to Joker, Penguin and Lex Luthor. For the first time in a Lego videogame, there is dialogue. And, unlike the first game, you can opt for 2-player cooperative play.

The story concerns Lex Luthor breaking the Joker out of Arkham Asylum, who quickly releases all of the other villains. So Batman and Robin are in hot pursuit … but, finding themselves in a tricky situation, Superman arrives to help out the Dynamic Duo! Luthor heads off to Metropolis to cause havoc, and – using kryptonite – weakens Superman. So the Justice League are called in, and there’s a big show down between the heroes and villains.

This is a really fun game – although in no way serious or complex. Yet it is well made, and the quality of the graphics, game-play, and music is fantastic. It’s a game that can be enjoyed by children and adults. You don’t need to have played the first game in order to understand this one – but if you played the first and liked it, I think you’ll be impressed at how this instalment is an all-round improvement.

The game is fun, but it is getting use to the voice acting if the Lego characters as it is an original story. I play it with my girlfriend and I noticed she does not really like it due to the frustrating puzzle solving as it is not very clear. Overall it is good game, but I rather stick to Harry Potter, star wars, indiana jones and Lord of the ring games

I bought this game for my 5 year old twins. My little boy was the main reason for this purchase, but my little girl also loves it too. It's level design and that it's all made in LEGO is brilliant. However, I could go on about how good it is, but I feel that the cons are what people need to be aware of. Firstly, the number of characters is only limited to the characters in the game itself. This for me was disappointing to say the least. Driving to each area and operating the bat systems to allow moving to new locations was not clear from the start and they found it difficult to understand why they couldn't go anywhere. But for me, the worse bug, or rather "feature" is the fact that every time you land from a height to the ground, your head gets stuck in the ground. Now this is quite humorous a couple of times, however it gets very old quickly and then just really annoys you. After seeing Batman 3 Beyond Gotham, they have rectified my criticisms thankfully. So taking the above into consideration, I'd give it 85%.
