My son loves this game, a couple of additions to the first game. Batman and Robin can change between any suits that they have collected do far. A couple of new suits a couple of new abilities on the new suits. Another great feature is you can change suits any time you want.

A couple of points this game seem to be set more in the new 52 universe. Robin is Tim Drake rather Dick Greyson. The thing that this game seems to lose is the effect of being able to run around Gotham which my kids did love in LB2. Also the puzzles are actually very hard to the point of frustration.

The characters talk a lot more in between levels. Batman is back to his surly self. Dishing out tough love training to Robin. Instead of citizens in trouble the is "TV's Adam West" in trouble. I am sure like my kids most people this game is aimed at have no idea who that is. However a great continuation of the Lego Batman franchise. My son loves it. I know he is on the right path because he know Batman is so much cooler than Superman.

First of all,I am A Massive Batman fan so when I Received this game for christmas I was completely chuffed.I began playing as Batman and Robin and I soon realised that there were several new additions added to the game [Such as:New suits, a bigger Killer Croc, New Vehicles, new Characters Etc] which hadn't been added to the previous two games before it.But, there was one problem I had with this game and this is getting back to the Bat cave and the Justice League Watchtower. So apart from that I really enjoyed this game thoroughly and I would recommend it to any Batman Fan Or Lego Fan or anyone willing enough to give this Brilliant game a shot at.
[P.S Thanks For Reading this review on Lego Batman 3:Beyond Gotham.]

This is another entry into the saga that is 'Lego Batman' ... and, like its predecessors, it's a whole lot of fun. It combines action (lots of fighting) with detective work (puzzles to solve), and can be played by both adults and children alike. It's a really good 2-player game.

Batman's world is vastly expanded here. We move beyond Gotham City to outer space! And there is a huge host of super-heroes (and villains!) to choose from, so you can play as your favourite DC character - from the Flash to Wonder Woman, from Superman to the Martian Manhunter. The story concerns the evil Brainiac - who's invading Earth, with the intention of shrinking it and adding it to his collection of planets! So you must journey around the galaxy - to various 'Green Lantern worlds' - to gather what's necessary to stop Brainiac.

This is a big game - with 45 separate missions (with over 100 characters to choose from). As with previous games, the musical score is great (based on the well-known themes from the movies and TV series). The voice actors add a lot of humour to the adventure. The graphics are great (and an improvement on the last game).

It's a game with much re-play value, as you seek to build all the various Lego items. As for myself, I found some of the puzzles quite challenging to work out (but my 7 year old nephew told me what to do) ... If you enjoy Lego games, and you're a fan of Batman, you'll probably like this. Thoroughly recommended.

Well its keeping both the big kid (Dad) and their accomplice (9 year old daughter) completely entertained. Although I think the accomplice is more of a hindrance than a help most of the time. Either way they're certainly having fun working out the puzzles, killing things (and each other) and exploring the game.

It is a good game which is being thoroughly enjoyed.

My kids and I enjoy these games with the Lego brand and this one is even better than I expected. Far greater gameplay length and a great number of areas for travel and exploration, some new gameplay features added to keep it interesting.
This isn't one you're going to complete in a day and neither will you get bored. Like as they did with the Marvel based Lego games they've greatly increased the number of DC characters for this game.
There are some cute levels played in miniaturised European cities, ending up in a miniaturised Gotham. Other levels send you to various planets which you can then go back and roam all over as a complete planet or moon.

The LEGO series is getting on a bit, and this may be one game too many; while the characterisations and voice acting are superb (apart from Conan O'Brien; whoever thought having him recycle the same joke every time you get anywhere near him needs shooting), it's buggy (crashes, meshes failing to load, "open world" quests vanishing, etc.), poorly paced, and at times a confusing mess: the dynamic splitscreen is even more vomit-inducing than previous incarnations, and some sections are literally unplayable in co-op mode due to terrible camera angles.

On the plus side there's lots of stuff to smash, and the bonus Adam West/Burt Ward level is pretty sweet.

(Also note the DLC is pitiful; each instalment can be completed very quickly and the additional characters are underwhelming.)

i really like it big lego fan played them all on ps3 excellent game for all ages. same thing as other lego games collect the studs. red bricks etc. nothing new really. but if it int broke dont fix it as the old saying goes. 15 levels story (then replay them free play to complete i find this bit a bit tedious on all legos games) about 70 trophies easy to platinum. their a season pass on PlayStation store 11 quid to buy extra levels haven't bought it but good it want extend the game. cheaper buy season pass than buy all of them separate
