I've owned this book for less than 24 hours and have already read it 3 times. The book includes a Han Solo (complete with medal as in episode 4) to go with my Luke Skywalker that came with the Star Wars Lego DictionaryLEGO® Star Wars The Visual Dictionary (Dk). Each page describes one mini figure and includes information such as what set, year, pieces, equipment and variants. The book is slighty larger than A5 which makes it just the right size for taking on your travels.

Such a big hit!!!! We bought 2 of these books for 2 little boys, our grandsons. One is 4 and the other is 7 and both boys reacted in exactly the same manner when receiving it. Each page was studied while making remarks like: this is a "bady".....and this is a "goody"..... while saying their names and telling all sorts of information about each one of them without even reading the description. I highly recommend this book to all who have little one's (between 4 and 99) who love Lego Star Wars mini figures.

Brilliant, yet another way of captivating the mind and imagination of my Son who soaks up the information and details like a magic sponge. Detailed pictures and descriptions as well as information on sets and release dates as well as versions of different figures over the years. We do have the updated version LEGO® Star Wars Character Encyclopedia Updated and Expanded purchased in July 2015 which has 72 more pages than an earlier version.

A must have for any Star Wars fan bookshelf.

This is a 206-page book detailing all the Star Wars-related Lego figures. A third of its thickness is taken up by the plastic packaging of the “Exclusive” Lego Minifigure of Han Solo. There are two pages of Contents, two for the Index, and one for publication details, but the rest is given over to an exhaustive catalogue of figures, each one getting a full page.

Each figure gets a front-view photo, with the character shown about 6 inches tall, though some droids may be taller, and Ewoks and the like are slightly smaller. There is a main caption box telling you about the figure, along with a number of fact-boxes (some with a little picture where required) pointing out variants and detachable bits, and captions pointing out details of note on the figure itself.

The Contents are divided according to the film and TV series the figures appears in – though there is a colour code on each page telling you if that figure appears in more than one film.
P004: Episode I (23 figures)
P027: Episode II (13 figures)
P040: Episode III (21 figures)
P061: Episode IV (30 figures)
P091: Episode V (26 figures)
P117: Episode VI (30 figures)
P147: Episode Clone Wars (53 figures)
P200: Episode Expanded Universe (9 figures)

If you are a Lego collector or Lego Star Wars collector, then this will likely be an essential book for you (or its intended recipient); otherwise it will just be a novelty item.

However, whenever I look at these Lego figure books, my inner collector starts twitching my fingers…

Like the format of this large multi page book. Children can either just browse the large pictures of figures, one on each page, or read in greater detail about the origin of each one. It would appeal to different ages of children....and some adults!

Excellent, for £5 I would have been quite happy with it without the minifigure but you get a fantastic minifig included so it is a great deal. The book is well presented, lots of nice pics and info, son loves it.
