How to choose LED lights
• You’ll find LED bulbs to fit most existing lamps or sockets, including reflectors, standard GLS, candles, spotlights, and others. Check your light source to see what type of bulb you need to fit.
• Colour is another way to narrow down your LED light options. Light output is usually available in warm white, daylight, or cool white tones. For most residential interiors, you’ll want to choose warm white.
• Do you want dimmable LED lights? Look for this feature marked on the package. However, one thing to bear in mind is that because LEDs use less power overall, they don’t work very well with existing dimmer switches. You’ll need to find trailing edge dimmers that are specifically designed for use with LED lighting.
