About this item

  • 150W upward thrust power converter for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, high - performance LEDs
  • If you really want to use 150 watts, we recommend an additional fan.
  • The passive cooling is sufficient in cool environments for maximum output power 100W.
  • It is in the pot with a screw drive. That is, they have a few laps before the voltage changes do.
  • The pot has an overspeed protection. So you can not break anything while setting.

gives 24 volts ok from 12 volt source, but not tried on load yet.

Good stabilised output even with a varying input.
Sorted out my flickering camper led lights.

Change of comment. The top-line spec should read "Vin = 10 to 32v Vout = Vin + 2v to 35v. Yes it does say "Boost" but the implication of that is not necessarily obvious. By rearranging the topology of my system and some small cost I have solved my issue.

I needed to achieve 12v (as specified) with 13.5v input the lowest voltage that I can achieve is 13.3v
so to me the device failed on base spec. It has cost me in time.

Excellent product. Maintains voltage output over time, stays put and doesn't get warm with extended use.

Delivered early. Unwrapped. Put on bench. Set up to do 19V for a laptop. Works. Carries on working. There really is a limit to this sort of review, you know.

Bought this to run a TV which needed 30V.
Was running it on 12V input and I was pulling 2 to 3.5 amps from the wall.
ran fine for about 30 minutes then one of the capacitors blew (and stank the house out).
then it's dead.
Original caps were only rated at 35V 1000uF.
So the caps were running at 100% capacity on a 35V boost circuit.
even after doing a cap swap to 50V units, it's still dead. I suspect the dead cap went open circuit and blew other components.

Worked ok for 10 minutes before a resistor popped and sent a little bit of smoke in the air. It might have been my fault but I really don't know.
