Really enjoyed this story its was predictable but a lot of girly romance books are however characters where believable and the story moved along at a nice pace. I would def read more books from this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun, well written read 4 Mar. 2012

This book has been sitting on my kindle bookshelf for quite some time as it got passed over for other more inviting titles. I will say I was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice fun romance with good character development. It would make a great beach read. Will the story, change the world? No. However, it actually had a plot (which I can't say for a lot of kindle books I've read recently) and left me feeling good in the end. The characters were believable. Enjoy!
3.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, easy read 6 July 2012
By Jill Marie - Published on Amazon.com

I don't like militant feminism, so the heroine got on my nerves. The hero wasn't meant to be likeable, but at least he was logical. He owns the business; he gets to choose what it produces. If an author or journalist doesn't like that, that's a really sad situation but it doesn't mean someone can just annoy their boss unendingly without consequence. Personal preferences notwithstanding, it was an easy to read office romance that had real characters with definite points of view. They eventually have to compromise or quit (it's a romance - guess which one), but neither one flakes out for the sake of sex which was a refreshing change. Aside from the female lead acting like a little kid deprived of a Sunday treat for a few chapters, it was a fun, tension-filled, humorous take on the idea of opposites attract.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great read with well written characters 16 Feb. 2012
By Kindle Customer - Published on Amazon.com

This is my first review of a book on Amazon and I must say that I found L.A. Caveman to be a great enjoyable read. I could not put my Kindle down as I read this whole text in a 24 hour period :) I was immediately pulled into the story and found myself seeing a great Hepburn/Tracey like story playing out before me, with a touch of suspense/mystery, and a great romantic pairing that did not let me down at any point in the book. I was surprised by the way ALL of the characters came to life and made me care about them, and most importantly laugh with them. I loved the office staff and felt like I was going to work with Stanna & Jake at Men's Weekly each time they stepped off the elevator.

With all this said, why did I give this book a 4 star review rather than a 5? I wanted more of the Ian story, please do not think that there was anything wrong with Ian's story as written, my comment is just that I wanted more of the drama and friction that he brought to the story. I would say more but I don't want to spoil the story for anyone else :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, a bit choppy in the plot 21 Mar. 2012
By Reads A Lot - Published on Amazon.com

The idea behind this book is great! But the plot is a bit choppy with co-workers dropping in and out and an ex-boss with connections to a never-really-named group of bad guys. The mob, maybe. There were these great moments in the book that kept it all hanging together. But the ending seemed a bit rushed and the sub-plot with the ex-boss wasn't really tied up as neatly as it could have been. A solid 4 star read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very cute story 9 Mar. 2012

A nice and sweet romance with some drama in the mix. New employer hates the ideals of his employee but can't fire her as he wishes to due to a contract. They have to learn to deal with each other and their sexual tension. Overall a good read, well written.
