I produce the church magazine and when the old (ex-commercial) duplicator died, nothing "not too expensive" worked adequately. This is a bit more expensive than I would normally spend on just a laser printer, but the duplex printer rolls off the pages fast (especially as it can be attached to a parallel port which seems much faster than the USB port). The tray can take a ream of paper and up to half a ream can sit on the output tray - and I DON'T have to keep unjamming it or letting it cool as with the "cheapies" I tried.
It is also very economical with toner, costing about one third of what others did.
This is my third Kyocera laser printer and I swear by them.
