I've been using this as a home office printer for about 3 months and it's been good. Print quality is high with only minor page curling when using good quality paper. (90-100gsm) It's fantastic for uni reports and essays. The web interface is useful and has many good features like job tracking, emailing on low toner etc.

Toner cartridges are good for 2800 prints which is a big bonus. Although the cartridges provided with the printer are starter ones so I only got about 800 prints before needing to replace them.

There are a couple of little drawbacks. It's physically huge and very heavy so you'll need a solid, out of the way place to put it. First print and colour duplexing is a little slow but not enough to be annoying.

Overall it's a great printer that's just had a £100 price cut from when I bought it making it a bargain.

The FS-C5150dn is an excellent printer overall, let down by only two things.

First, it's start-up time is quite long, mine takes about 2 minutes to be ready to print. If, like me, you switch your printer off between (infrequent) prints, then this can be annoying.

Second, it's huge, particularly depth. Check the dimension before you buy.

Apart from that, the print quality and speed is superb, and Kyocera's running cost are pretty much the best in the industry.

Bought this and had nothing but problems with their software.
Their support was useless - said it was an IT problem and they were not IT trained. Well if integrating a device driver into an operating system isn't IT then I don't know what is. (Windows 7x64)
I tried everything and my last attempt to get this device to work, involved formatting my system drive, reloading Windows then adding the printer before anything else. I can get the printer to work but I still get an error flagged in USB controller in Device Manager - "USB printing support - device cannot start". Oddly enough I have found plenty of others in forums who have had a similar experience. Wish I'd checked that first!

It might work for some but it sure doesn't work for everyone. Can you afford to take that risk?
My best advice to anyone would be to avoid Kyocera and buy a decent printer with software that works and preferably with competent support.

Although a bit fiddly to get installed it was well worth the effort. I was expecting good things from kyocera and haven't been disappointed. The print quality is exceptional, the duplex works a dream and the whole thing is good to go right out of the box.
