From the Author

All over the world people seek to learn how to defend themselves. They seek help. People are still born with a brain, two legs and two hands. The only think that changed over time is the collective intelligence in form of faster access around the world. Self Defense is having series of skills to timely identify, react, and resolve an instant scenario that could cost your life. The time frame in a real life scenario could be few seconds. This calls for efficiency in the use of time, generally two seconds, and therefore efficiency in the use of movement. Krav Maga was a complete Training method for a self defense engagement. It is logical to conclude that there is only one best way to the course of action in a self defense scenario. In scenarios where we never get a second chance we would not want to rely on the second best choice.
Various interests caused various interpretations of Krav Maga
I've decided to leave my contribution to humanity with this book. I've spent about 2,000 hours writing this book with the following goals in mind: Give anyone that can read the opportunity to take control over their learning or teaching and understand in depth what they are learning. Giving potential students and potential instructors the ability to identify if they are learning Krav Maga or whether they are just using the name Krav Maga and not learning or teaching its techniques and training methods. I've included a comparative analysis of Krav Maga Techniques and Training Systems to many other self Defense Training Systems that were developed over the last decades. I drew conclusions to why other methods would not be likely to work. I've included a complete in depth research of the human body major pressure points. Complete analysis of human body reaction time, and complete analysis of the outcome of tactical decisions in each scenario. While training methods attempt to limit injuries of the trainees, yet it was discovered in the Israeli Defense Forces that after twenty one hours of training, new trainees were far more advanced than trainees that had obtained an instructor degree in various sports martial arts. A non athletic trainee would knock Out a Karate, Judo, Wrestling, Boxing and Sambo champions or a jujitsu or Aikido Nin-Jitsu instructor.
Since it only takes 21 hours to master all Krav Maga skills and techniques, I thought it would be best to put it all in one book. For anyone that has a limited interest in part of it, for example how to win a Sports Martial Arts Competition, how to execute a knockout punch, Self Defense for Women, etc., I think they should read the whole book and decide if they want to practice part of it or all of it. In the Israeli Defense forces an additional eighty hours are spent to teach Instructors how to teach. This ensures quality control of the product.
