It's only my first day using the mouse, but I know it'll do the job. For people that have owned an Evoluent mouse in the past, you hold it almost exactly the same way (almost as if you're shaking someone's hand).

As I have owned 2 Evoluent mice in the past, I know that this works for me, eliminating arm/shoulder pain (and it's a quarter of the price of the Evoluent!)

It doesn't receive 5 stars because it only has 2 buttons... a programmable thumb button would've been nice, given that there's so much space.

Something to look forward to for the Accuratus V2 then :)

Excellent purchase, very cost effective compared with others on the market. Delivery was on time. I use the computer a lot and was looking for something to ease the discomfort that I was experiencing in my right arm, wrist and shoulder. This is a very easy mouse to adapt to and use and has given me a lot of relief. Would highly recommend this product.

Having suffered shooting pains in right arm for one month I ordered this. Plugged in at work Thursday morning. Pain completely gone by Friday lunchtime. Well made too.

This mouse has saved me a great deal of pain. Before i bought it I was suffering from RSI in my wrist. Now, no matter how much time I spend on my computer, I do not get wrist pain. It seems unbelievable that just by turning the mouse on its side it can make such a difference, but it does. Just make sure that you are right handed or you buy one that is specific to left handed use if not, my daughter is left handed and it is not suitable for her.

First virtical mouse I've used at home. Doesn't sit quite as comfortably in the hand as the Evoluent model I have at work and lacks the additional buttons but it rolls very comfortably, the scroll button on mine works perfectly fine and for the price (less than 16 quid - including p&p) it's a bargain. Performance + value = 5 stars for me.

Not for me, I have been using this mouse for three months, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week doing CAD and all it has done is shift the pain from my wrist to my shoulder and elbow.
The scroll wheel sticks, the resolution could be better and the silver finish is wearing off. However it is cheap compared to other mice out there and it has had a lot of use.

The Accuratus is a cheap'n'cheerful upright. On mine the buttons were mis-aligned (one was higher than the other) and the mouse wheel was prone to movement (other than rotational!) and locking up.

I bought it after trying the Evoluent which didn't ease my wrist pain. I tried it out (even with the build quality niggles the buttons/wheel did still work) and it didn't do anything for the pain either. As the quality was bad enough in my mind to warrant a refund I sent it back after a week.

I ended up buying the DTX mouse which is very good but costs about £75. One thing that is excellent with the DTX (and might be of value to someone interested in ergo mice) is that it can be switched from a left to right handed mouse with a small button on the mouse itself. This is something neither the evoluent or the accuratus can do because of their shape. It might seem useless to you at face value - but you would/will be surprised how quickly you can get comfortable using a mouse in either hand - which helps with wrist pain immensely. This has been a shameless plug for the DTX....at £75 each....i wish i was on commission ;O)

For this price, the result is remarkable. I bought this when I developed RSI after intensive mouse use during the porting of an intranet. I work from home some of the time and couldn't afford any of the expensive solutions. My employers bought a pen mouse for use when in the office, but this was the cheapest alternative for home use. It is more comfortable than a standard mouse in that your arm sits naturally at a better angle when using it and I'm sure it will help with my recovery, particularly as I am now using different types of input devices at home and at work instead of a standard mouse all the time. It is very light weight, not surprising in view of the materials, but this probably helps too. I will say that I have particularly small hands and it is a little big for me. I would have preferred something smaller which is why it only gets 4 stars, but I can't afford to be that choosy. Excellent value for money.
