Only when giving proper inspection did I realise it had nine of the lumber support padding as per the imagery - merely the canvas strap to help tie around the waist..
Having contacted Amazon about this, feeling the wrong item has been sent they were far from helpful or understanding.
Still. It was reduced in price and I am sure I will survive - just a little bad taste left following disinterest in assistance or concern from Amazon..
The bag will be used for light hunting kit so hopefully will suffice without the additional padding..
I may update yet..
Just be sure to check item as soon as it arrives as any delta causes confusion if you have issue (Or, like me, there is then no time to return and reorder...)
The bag straps are easy adjustable and there a pocket on the back section it can fit my 2 litre water bladder. The molle is every where . Ive been attaching my water bottles and cook sets to the outside and this frees up all 25 litre in the bag for tarps camping gear etc.
All in all a great made bag that can adopt to fit your needs
EDIT 9/6/2018 Very disappointed to find a hole in the fabric of my bag. Never even took it outdoors - just packed it and left it, so nothing I did! It has split along a top seam where water would drip in, compromising integrity of bag. Returns window 'Closed' so nothing for it but to reduced my four-star review to one and to recommend another product entirely. Grrrrr
Needed a new pack for hiking and a couple of bushcraft courses, looked in various shops which stocked the usual Karrimor and Eurohike which were similar £20 prices to this, or for a little more a Berghaus or Lowe Alpine but they all felt a little flimsy or lacked the pockets and internal dividers I wanted.
Read the reviews for this and for the price thought I'd give it a try. Have to say very impressed, good material, good zips, molle straps seem secure, plenty of compartments and internal pockets, including an 'organiser' section in the lower front pocket so pens, torches, multitool etc are kept secure.
It does come with a waist strap, but it sits a little high and on a 28L pack is always a bit superfluous so mine is off.
Only few things I found is lack of chest strap, no rain cover and the main shoulder straps feel a little narrow to me, but saying that, I also find it quite comfortable carrying a litre bottle, water proofs, couple of saws, tools etc...
Negatives; Its a very heavy bag, the straps on the arms don't grip into place, I don't know if I've got fault buckles but its terrible, there are some Velcro loops but even tightening them don't make them stick so I walk around with it far too low on my back slipping by the second. Its also got two holes on the bottom for no reason, if for ventilation they should be on the side. With these located where they are I'd question putting your bag down when you stop as water and mud could quickly get in.
