This is probably the best non-dairy milk available for tea and coffee. It doesn't curdle with hot or cold fluids, it doesn't have an affect on the flavour, and it doesn't coagulate in the carton But it's very expensive to buy on Amazon - it's available at approx half the price in supermarkets such as ASDA.

Reason for buying:
I decided to buy this product because I felt that my digestive issues and bloating might be related to lactose intolerance and Casein sensitivity. The product is Award Winning (Free From Food Awards 2013, Plant Milk Category).

Taste / What to eat it with?:
This milk tastes delicious on its own. It's tastes nutty, coconut-y and refreshing. I had it mainly with my cereal and protein shakes, It can also be used as a direct replacement to milk when making sweet or savoury food. However It is much more noticeable in smoothies and coffee.

This is a great milk alternative to those who are seeking non-dairy / lactose-free diets, or just for those looking for a good coconut milk brand.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:
It kind of looks like watery milk. It's not as thick and creamy as milk is.

WHAT IT TASTES LIKE:
- Subtly sweet
- Very subtle and pleasant taste of coconut.
- Some similarity in flavour to rice milk, only with a coconutty twist

WHAT I DO WITH IT:
- How I use it for Baking: I like using this in baking to replace milk in recipes for cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
- How I use it in Cooking: I make a lovely coconut and turmeric vegetables dish that uses this coconut milk for the sauce, and I also made a great Indian coconut chickpea soup with this which came out lovely.

Having ordered this item several times before, I was dismayed to receive only 3 x 250 ml cartons = 0.75 litres. Instead, I should have received 8 x 3 x 250 ml = 24 cartons, totaling 6 litres. Please check the order description. Otherwise you are paying over £17 for one litre of coconut milk.

Excellent alternative to cows milk, is more creamy than Almond milk - very nice in cereal, etc and on its own.

When I started drinking coconut milk (from koko) I was shocked that I was paying around 2.20 euros for something that only contains around 9% of coconut milk. I decided to search the supermarkets and found another brand ( Go Tan Coconut Milk, cardbox with 75% coconut and 25% water with no preservatives). To maintain the caloric amount from Koko (around 30 kcal/100ml), I just add around 125ml from go tan to a liter of water. It has less sugars, tastes more like coconut, while maintaining the same caloric content! Also, it costs you half of what you pay for a liter of koko milk!!

Koko coconut milk is absolutely delicious. you can barely detect the coconut flavour when it's in tea/coffee, and tastes lovely just as a drink on its own.

I'd give it 5* if the price was better. You can get it a *lot* cheaper in a supermarket!
