After humans are under attack from a formidable alein force, you are thrown in to the tide of battle to help with the last human struggle. Sound exciting enough!
This game offers a truely impressive experience of a mixture of "shoot em up" and role playing features. Buying potions from shops and upgradable weapons. This game is absolutly huge, meaning it will take you upon hours to complete.
With co-op mode and a chance to pit yourself against your freinds, you have a great chance of extended gameplay.Trust me you will not be able to complete every nook and cranny, so great potential for replay value.
Don't worry if you haven't played the first one, as the boy in the theatre soon fills you in on the story with movies from the previous game. Overall a great game, a must have.

I enjoyed the first game and liked the mix of button bashing and tactical fighting and liked the upgrading of weapons and the different weapons that were on offer, but this one changes slightly. The guns each character can use are limited, such as the main character only using 2 guns, although this may sound like a step down, it only focuses and makes the two weapons stronger, who really levelled up every gun on the last one?
A good thing is that you can personalize more the upgrading of the weapons, you have two guns and a sword, picking up upgrades enable you to add the points to each weapon, in any way you wish, such as adding them all to your swords and powering that up, leaving your guns alone, this means you can power up the weapon you use the most to make it even more effective, upgrading its range and power etc.
The switching of characters means others can get neglected but the good thing is using a central terminal you can explore the levels and worlds you allready have finished, meaning characters can quickly level up to a high standard if youre prepared to visit location after location. The graphics are fantastic, and both cut scenes and bosses look incredible.
Although it states two player it is not co-operative campaign style, if you were thinking it would be like the first but both on screen you will be mistaken, you can fight co-operatively but only on simple levels protecting things, rather then having to finish quests. A must have if you enjoyed the first, more levels, more characters, better graphics, a decent game.
