Dont't waste your time with this one. I ordered the Kodak 360 on the strength of the great review it received particulary given it's (at that time) £99 price point. However when it arrived I was very disappointed. The quality of the lcd display was really terrible. Browns appeared green. Greens were red. Blues were green. Get the picture? or rather you wouldn't with this piece of rubbish. No doubt this was a one off "lemon" but has totally put me off Kodak cameras and their dodgy quality control. Well worth spending a few pounds more for the reliability and build quality of Nikon,Canon or Fuji.

For my brother on his birthday, he really enjoyed this camera. It took little time for him to work out how it worked and he was constantly using it. He has learning difficulties, so ease of use was a concern, apart from installing AA rechargeable batteries, he has had no problems so far, he even impressed himself when he managed to save it all to a CDR. So top marks for ease of use (I think the symbol for batteries was unclear and he was getting positive and negative the wrong way around). he really likes to show movies on TV, I noticed the quality was good for a camera, but the sound was very quiet and the image showed noticeable compression, which seems a shame, especially as he was using a 1GB card, so the heavy compression is the annoyingly only option. Still, he feels it's okay for his needs. The build quality of such a relatively cheap camera is good, mostly plastic with decorative metal panels. I noticed previous models by Kodak to be unworkably slow, but this seemed to work fast enough for my brother. So a good all round 5MP camera, clear LCD and all the basic functions. The zoom is nothing to get excited about, but a plus point is a focus assist lamp for focusing in low light conditions; something I wish my older Casio QV61 had. Oh and my brother likes the flashing green LEDs and beeps, frankly all that guff drives me nuts, but it looks like real technology to my brother.
UPDATE DEC 06: I've noticed the price is now a crazy £[...]. I really cannot recommend this camera for such a ludicrous price. There are a thousand better cameras that are £[...] cheaper. I can't believe they've more than doubled the price in six months. Outrageous.

after owning a kodak C7430 for about a year, i decided this would be a good gift for my parents as they are familiar with the Kodak system.
if you want a simple easy to use, good quality camera i highly recommend this C360.it is a lot smaller than i thought it would be so ordered the lowepro D res 8 case(free) which did look a bit big at first.as it turns out the extra room means they can get the USB and TV/audio lead in the case as well as the camera.
I had a 1GB kingston SD card kicking around so this went straight in and gives them a possible 650+ photos at 5 mega pixels.
Not being a great fan of using the kodak software included, once plugged into USB the camera is picked up in My computer in windows XPSP2 and allows you to transfer pics very easily to your PC.only slight bug is it does take a few seconds to show the pics on the PC screen so you may have to refresh the window to see the pics appear.
As the camera doesnt come with a charger i ordered a pack of Uniross AA 2500Mah NIMH rechageables to take place of this as it works out i swap the AA's with the ones in our cordless telephone which gives a full charge to start the day and lets the others charge up while were are out.
picture quality is very good for what we want, overall package is very good, simple to use, compact and good value for money.

I Bought one of these little beauties while holidaying in Taiwan and although it was bought and demo'd in a strange arm waving shouty mix of Chinese and English mis-translation, I can honestly say I'm glad I did. At 5 mega pixel its not the highest resolution camera on the market but if you don't want to print anything A4 or above, anymore pixels are just an expensive talking point. The amount of different picture modes (automatically setting exposure time and iris width) is fantastic. The day shots are crystal clear and the night shots are fantastic too. I took a shot of the moon between two streetlights and it came out on the photo. You get the leads to plug it into your T.V, so you can preview you photos or hold a slide show with friends. You also get a U.S.B lead and software for your computer, not to mention it can be plugged in to its own printer port (sold seperately). It has a good optical zoom and the shutter speed is quite quick in 'Auto' mode. Overall a very competent digital camera at a great price.

well, I am absolutely no techno wizard, and hate technology, but this is so easy and compact, okay it has extra features, that maybe in time I will understand and use, but for now the pics that I have taken, are such great quality and its so nice to fit into my day bag. I also received the free case which looks big but it fits in the leads for the tv and computer which is very handy. I am very impressed, and I did read the reviews, before I finally picked this, and what a good choice. The feedback given really helps, techno phobias like me. I am going to buy a memory card though, as a friend has told me all about memory cards, in english instead of techno computer chat. I also bought a recharger and some batteries as the reviews had said to buy one, and again great idea. Right im off now to play with my new gadget !!!!

This little camera I purchased on Amazon by the comments on the reveiws. It is a brilliant buy for the money, and so easy to use for a person who is a novice with digital camera. I also purchased the extra memory card (which I think is a must). My daughter recently had her prom. I click away with this little camera and the results are brilliant. After the disappointment of buying a HP photosmart with printer. Which allowed you basically to be able to take six pictures before the batteries needed recharging and the batteries - not holding their charge. This has been a great buy. The delivery of the camera was great. A very satisfied customer.
