5.0 out of 5 stars Now a review from someone who has read the book... 3 April 2015
By John Brewer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Unlike Keith Dow, I've read the book and it's a very dense and exciting read, basically defending a view of knowledge that is future- rather than past-oriented. In a way, this book is Popper on steroids, wrapped up in wide-ranging discussions of theology, psychology and historiography. A good way to see the book is as a milestone in Fuller's social epistemology, which in recent years has dabbled in intelligent design and transhumanism -- clearly not to everyone's tastes! However, even this negative review manages to get the argument straight -- even without having read Fuller's previous 20 books: https://ndpr.nd.edu/news/56619-knowledge-the-philosophical-quest-in-history/
If readers what to get a more interactive sense of what the book's about, a young Canadian philosopher has been discussing each chapter with Fuller on his website under the title 'Knowing Knowledge': http://adamwriteseverything.blogspot.co.uk/

1.0 out of 5 stars This guy was an expert witness for Intelligent Design at the Kitzmiller v Dover trial 11 Jan. 2015
By Keith Dow - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This guy was an expert witness for Intelligent Design at the Kitzmiller v Dover trial. He should have written a book he is qualified to write; for example "Ignorance: How to build a career out of it."
