Gabe is in pursuit of bail jumper Kathleen Templeton who’s charged with murder of her father. If Gabe doesn’t find Kathleen his company will go under.
His investigations lead him to Bayou Bella a Mississippi boat. There he meets Ky Taylor. Who is Ky Taylor and why are people trying to kill them?
Plot: This is a fast moving complex intriguing romantic suspense thriller.
Characters: Well developed. Kathleen/Ky characters, sweet and kind or a hard nose business woman, unfolds slowly as the story unfolds.
Writing Style: The writing is easy to follow as the story unfolds at a pace.
This is a complex story that twists and turns as it unfolds. I was kept guessing to the very end.
A good read.

Waking with total amnesia, Ky recovers from being nearly beaten to death, and is working on a Mississippi river boat as a "21" dealer. She is feeling protected by the network that protects battered wives and children until the evening she is accosted by a man in a nylon stocking mask and a ball cap who demands "the password". She has no idea what he's talking about, of course, nor does she understand why a bail bondsman thinks she is someone she does not know, nor any of the other characters who either threaten or try to sweet-talk information she does not have out of her. Only her employer, Rosie, seems to be entirely on her side.
This is not only a mystery, not only a romance, but a look at what happens to people when they grow up without love and kindness...a lesson every prospective parent might want to take to heart. It's a great story, and I congratulate you, Connie, on your new success.
