I am an experienced knitter but have never tried socks before. All change...I gave four pairs as gifts
this Christmas. This book has a lovely feel, and I now understand the ways socks need to be worked to get a perfect fit. I would recommend it to expert sock knitters and beginners alike.

As a fairly experienced knitter, I had never got around to learning how to knit socks. I rectified that but wanted to expand my knowledge and also have patterns for different styles and patterns so that I could give hand knitted socks as gifts. This book is an excellent addition to my small knitting library and I have already ear-marked a number of patterns I want to do.
