I bought this for my 4 year old's birthday, mainly becuase he was also getting a huge castle with knights etc, due to this being his latest obsession. He's not into any kind of artsy/crafty stuff, or even colouring in, but when he was presented with this, I lost a whole day of my life while he begged me to help (and later this was demoted to watching) him do the sticker book.

It should in theory become boring after the 3rd, 4th or 5th page, but Usborne have cleverly themed the pages - there's one of a huge battle, with lots of gory stickers of knights falling from castles with swords through their middles, or arms falling off (I kid you not) but that's sort of the appeal - political correctness hasn't quite sucked the joy out of this yet. When you're bored of battling knights, there's the banquet page to fill in, or even the page on dressing each knight in his entire battle outfit, layer by layer.

All the subtleties of a good toy that adults can appreciate, are also here appreciated by the child too. Oh and did I mention that the illustrations, quality of the stickers, and short paragraphs explaining each page are also equally brilliant?!?

One of the biggest hits of his birthday - and I'm now going to buy more as gifts.

Son just loves this book. Great collection of stickers.

Illustrates and tells the story of how young boys would turn into knights and some of the training they would undergo to be the best they could be.

Recommended as a nice interactive learning book

Bought this book for my 3 year old son on a wet day in Norfolk. The rest of the holiday was sunny, but did he want to go to the beach? No, all he wanted to do was his sticker book. We had tears when he had done them all - all 450! It is a great book with lots of different scenes and all with a slightly gory element that small children love. I can't recommend it highly enough. Only downside is that some of the more complex shaped stickers tear when being removed by an enthusiastic 3 year old, so parental help is required.

Bought a copy for a 6 year old girl, who loves stickers. She spent many happy hours on it during the summer holidays. She liked it so much I bought another copy for the next birthday party we went to. I think this would be popular with any child who likes stickers and/or castles aged between 3-8+. Works well on different levels, older children would be able to spend time making it look really good & younger ones just enjoy playing with the stickers.

thanks to this book and Shrek, my 24 month year old now expects castles, knights, princeses, crowns, swords and drzgons to all go together.

This book is full of lovely illustrations and many, many strickers to complete the medievil events presented in this book (weopon making, entertainment, dragon quest etc) ...

Interest is maintained in the book while you can explain the diferent aspects of medievil life to your little ones.

Great stuff
