A creative & challenging family board game that will leave kids (& even adults) fascinated about the beauty of geometry.
Geometry is not just about remembering shapes & their properties. It's a way of thinking!
How The Game Works
The game consists of sticks of three different lengths - 3, 4 and 5 units long. Using these to try and create geometric shapes. Based on the size and type of shape, you earn points. Sounds simple? Not quite. Firstly, you don't get to choose the sticks - it is determined by a randomly chosen card. And secondly, you can use only two sticks per turn! Creating a shape using only two sticks is impossible. Hence you have to use your two sticks along with the ones that the other players may have placed on the board. That is where the game turns highly creative. Which two sticks will you use? Where will you place them? Think creatively to win.

Game was easy to understand and the rules had images for you to check you were playing correctly.
It is really useful that the bonus shapes are on the box lid, this would stop it becoming lost.
It was easy to record the scores for each player.
There was not enough 'power cards' for each player. The rules say that each player has 5, but when playing with 4 players, there was only enough for each player to have 4 cards with a couple of spare.
In the rules it states the game takes between 35 - 40 minutes to play. After an hour we were still playing.
It would be a good game for children to learn shape names and properties, especially to identify irregular shapes. As 4 adults playing it, we were a little bored, there was no excitement at all and it seemed to go on for a long time. We don't actually know how the game ended (it may have specified in the rules) We had, had enough so gave up. As a teacher I will be taking this game to school to share with the children as I think they may enjoy it. Unfortunately due to the cost of it, I would be unable to purchase these enough for the whole class to play, however a small group could play. I may even link children into pairs to play so 8 could play together.
The game arrived very quickly and was well packaged.
The dame is easy to play and did make her think. She decided to take it into school and she is allowed to play it in math class and have fun with her friends.
I am going to give this 5 stars as it is very good quality and nothing is better than having fun while you are learning.
