Product Description

From the Author

a neat fire festival!
The kitchen stove or barbeque grill can become a unique way of having a fire festival any day of the year in your home. The hearth represents your home's heart, and each time you use it magically it can accent the energy of love in the home. This book is dedicated to that goal.

About the Author

Trish Telesco is a professional author with more than 50 metaphysical titles on the market. Trish considers herself a kitchen witch whose love of folkore (and a bit of Strega) flavor every spell and ritual. Her strongest beliefs lie in following personal vision, being tolerant of other traditions, making life an act of worship, and being the magic! Trish travels minimally twice per month to give lectures and workshops around the country. She has appeared on several television segments and maintains a strong, visible presence in the public through journals like Circle Network News, and on the internet through popular sites like Witchvox.com, her home page, and her Yahoo! Clu Club. Her current pet projects include supporting pagan land funds and coordinating spiritually oriented tours to Europe.

Turns cooking from drudgery into magic!! Many delicous recipes from the appetizer to the dessert. Each recipe includes the magical attributes of the ingredients as well as the celebrations for which it would be most appropriately served. So the index can be searched by ingredients or sabbat/celebration. Not just recipes, Telesco also includes a chapter on culinary wizardry and informative appendices including kitchen gods & goddesses, magical kitchen tools and much more. For your beverage, check out "A Witch's Brew," also by Telesco.

Excellent book, and just what I was looking for. Some of the ingredients required are a little difficult to find, but alternatives are suggested. Many of the recipes are quite simple and common foods, but having the extra knowledge as to which of these everyday foods are good for boosting energy, healing, romance etc is certainly helpful. There are a wealth of wonderful foods to make and I personally adored the "Serendipity Cookies". Would definitely recommend for any culinary kitchen witches to be!

This book has become my bible on the subject - if I could only have one book in my witchy cookbook it would definitely be this one.
