Cons: iPod dock doesn't work with other 30 pin MP3 players. It will charge them but not play them.
The worst fault of the model though is the clock radio, and to me is a MAJOR flaw. It can't be set to off. Which means once you have set the alarm time it will keep coming on every day, there is nothing to stop it other than turning the machine off at the wall or setting it for different times if your on a holiday or the weekend. Really badly thought out....oh, and one other thing, if you think you can just turn the sound down to 0 to stop the alarm waking you, that wont work either, as the alarm seems to have it's own independent uncontrollable volume!
It also adjusted to the time on my ipod, in a clock change which was helpful.
It is light, so moves backwards if on a hard surface when you press a button on it, though this isn't much of a problem ,because as it is small you can keep it in the same place with the other fingers of your hand.
In some places that are more remote than cities and busy towns, it could not pick up a clear signal at all, when other radios in the same room could, but it is fine in less remote places.
My main problem was that if you set an alarm, you cant turn it off, without actually unplugging the radio, and then you had to reset the radio stations and time etc, and it didn't say anything about this in the manual.
Overall it is a good buy for the price, as it has a reasonable amount of volumes, but cant go as quiet as many other radios. It is compact and is fairly sturdy, with 3 functions that work pretty well
Like another reviewer I could not switch the alarm off for the weekend ( no instructions of how to do so in booklet ), so turned the volume to zero. Kitsound need to include this in their instruction booklet. I have since read another reviewer whom cotacted Kitsound and received instructions on how to switch alarm off, so will be trying them out later.
Overall a good value unit that looks good if a bit fiddy to use.
