This has everything you want in a romantic novel, it has unexpected twists and turns, as well as a mother-daughter relationship that anyone can fall in love with but it's more than that ... It's the kind of novel that keeps you guessing, and Izzy, the main character, is so likeable you can't help but feel you're with her on her adventure. I recommend it to anyone who's looking for something heartfelt but not overly romantic.

I have now read the book Kiss and really enjoyed it. I have now read 26 of |Jill Mansell's book and have one more paper back and her latest hard back left to read. She is a brilliant author, so she had better write some more as I have nearly read them all.

To be honest, I did feel that this book was going to be a disappointment, but having read a number of Mansell's books before, I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt.
In some ways I was proved wrong and the storyline was humourous, if a bit expected. The characters were interesting and you sympathised with them a lot. The only character I wasn't really keen on in some parts of the book was Kat as I felt she acted a bit stuck up - but I suppose that's what most teenagers are like right?!
Anyway, some parts I found annoying, like Sam and Izzy were starting to have a bit of a good romance, when suddenly something or someone would come along and it would be ages away, maybe right at the end until it was sorted out. It got quite frustrating.
I gave it three stars because it wasn't overly bad and there were parts that were entertaining and keeping me hooked. It isn't so bad where it has to be thrown in the trash quickly. If you do want to read this, then don't get your hopes up as it isn't brilliant and also if you haven't read a Jill Mansell book before, then read another one of her books first because this might put you off. 'Solo', 'Thinking of you' and 'Perfect timing' are three of her books that I would recommend first as these are brilliant!
