My husband is obsessed with Kiss. I don't mind some of their earlier stuff, especially their disco album Dynasty. I also love paul stanleys day-glo gloves in Tears are falling. So far I have had to watch this 3 times, which is okay because he's occupied so I don't have to dress up as 1974 Ace Frehley to make him happy. I mean, those heels are killers (seriously, a great set for any Kiss fan, spectacular show too)

The self appointed rock gods return with another winner,a stunning release from their 2014 residency at Vegas celebrating 40 years, resisting the deluxe package i settled for this the DVD/CD combo and its superb.

The DVD ,well where do you start?,flames, bombs, fireworks, lasers, smoke, confetti, fire breathing, smashed guitars, lasers, blood dribbling, flying demons, levitating catman, flying starchild, did i mention the lasers? a fabulous spectacle from start to finish

And the music, well they've got some fantastic tunes, album cuts ( Creatures of the night/Phyco Circus/Deuce etc, singles. ( Tears are Falling/Lick It Up/I love it loud , Shout it out loud & rock n roll all night) fan favourites ( Parasite/Do You Love me/love gun etc. its a pretty well thought out set

Personal highlights 'Creatures of the Night /War Machine and a superb 'Hell or Hallelujah'.

Whilst missing ( as a long term fan) Ace and Peter, it cannot be denied the quality of the Simmons/Stanley Thayer & Singer line up, this release merely confirms it.

Sound quality and production is excellent,no doubt ant mistakes and rough moments touched up,i'm comfortable with that.

The bonus footage is a nice touch some acoustic performance including Beth/Hard Luck Woman and forgotten classic 'Love Her All Ican'

The Cd contains a trimmed show minus some of the intros.bass solo etc again sounds awesome.

Packaging is decent foldout digipak and small booklet with some decent photos, the expense spent on the packing is concentrated on the deluxe hardback edition no doubt

I don't normally write Amazon reviews, but I am sooooo pleased with this product that I've had to say something.

First of all I didn't realise the book was so large, it's the size of a 12" album and the quality of the paper and photographs are amazing.

I've only had chance to watch the first three tracks of the Blu Ray but again the quality of the sound and footage is amazing, it even has a Dolby Atmos soundtrack which is tempting me to go and buy the extra speakers I need to add to my system.

Any Kiss fan is going to love this, know what I'm going to be watching tonight.

In which 43 years of pyro and panstick is celebrated in ego-tastic style in the only way KISS know how- BIG! I have always held the opinion that the only way to truly appreciate KISS was as a live act and this underlines this in no uncertain terms. When KISS played a residency in Las Vegas in 2014, it was certainly a meeting of minds. The most garish, the most spectacular, the most tacky, the most monied, the most tasteless, the most morally empty enterprise in the world invites, essentially, itself in band form. Money no object, scale no object, the brief was simple. Build a stadium sized show in a relatively small venue. Apart from landing on the stage with a helicopter gunship, or invading a small country as part of the encore, anything goes. The results, with lasers, video walls, a computer linked light up drumkit as well as all the other malarkey is undoubtedly stunning.

This whole thing is an exercise in ego. A massive show, turned into a movie which worships at the seven inch leather heels at the most ludicrous band in pop cannot be anything else. So, how to approach it? Do I retain my sense of cynicism, and attempt to destroy by mockery? if I do, I will lose- they can, as I understand it, probably withstand my English reserve. Do I dive in head first and just take it for what it is? 60 year olds in the dressing up box with passable at best 4 chord glam stomp anthems? Or do I at least attempt an open mind?

Kiss leave nothing to chance. This movie has every pose just so, every camera angle tightened to within an inch of it's life, every shot exactly calculated to show the band or the individual exactly in their best light.

just received the box - Amazon, try getting smaller boxes please, what a waste of cardboard. Anyway - Deluxe set comes in a large book type package. Some fantastic photos within, from a quality point of view. The gig itself sounds as if it was really good, have not watched the Blu-Ray yet, just listened to the CD. A very good set for us KISS fans. Yes I know there is only one Spaceman & Catman, but the music is good.

A good document of what a modern day Kiss gig is like. A good selection of songs, all enhanced by copious pyro. Like a certain David Coverdale, Paul Stanley is no longer a spring chicken but gives his all and credit for doing so. Roll on the London gig next year.
