Truly beautifully written and one of the first books written by Sherry that I read, I was blown away and completely captivated and most definitely fell in love with the book and most definitely started collecting books by Sherry ever since.
It is very easy to get engrossed in Sherrys books so I advise most definitely make sure you have time to read it in one go as it is very difficult to put down once you start. I defy anyone to read it and not want to read more of Sherrys books thank you Lady Sherry x

"A Kiss For Charity first appeared in the Bluestocking Belles' 2016 box set, Holly and Hopeful Hearts. It's now available for individual sale. Bonus material includes several original pieces published on the Belles' blog the Teatime Tattler."
A quick read about Young widow, Grace, Lady de Courtenay and Lord Nicholas Lacey, a widower whose wife died in a tragic accident.
From darkened paths of Vauxhall Gardens to a countryside estate called Hollystone Hall, readers will find depth, understanding, past hurts that keep Grace and Nicholas from opening their hearts. "A Kiss For Charity" has just the right amount of sparks, holiday cheer, and romance to keep readers engaged and turning pages to see what happens to Grace and Nicholas.
She brought her characters to life, the readers can feel the chemistry between these two characters, with the vivid details you can see the scenery in your mind, and her plot was entertaining and very interesting in "A Kiss For Charity".
Sherry Ewing is a masterful storyteller.
A sweet Christmas romance to be sure.
Strongly recommended for an afternoon read.

Sherry Ewing has penned a sweet, beautifully-told story about why it’s important not to jump to conclusions and why we should always listen with our ears as well as our hearts.
Nicholas a 'man' in his own right, has haunting memories of his deceased wife and blames himself for what happened to her, and so does his daughter. His brother-in-law says he needs to start moving forward; but how does one move forward when he has so much guilt?
Grace, a woman in her own right; a lady in every way that counts. She goes to a mascaraed party, and low and behold meets Nicholas. Of course she has no idea who he is and visa versa, and that's what makes this story so compelling.
One kiss that's all it took and neither one of them could forget the other.
From the beginning to the end I could not put it down. I laughed and cry, so many twist and turns throughout; and in the end all was good.
Grace's sister was something else. She want a man and it appeared she wanted any man. So she made a bet with her sister Grace, and said she will be engaged before the end of the year. Bet on, but who really loses and who really wins? But this is where it all begins, for Grace and Nicholas.
Lesson learned so let's just say, you gotta read the story.
I want to thank you Sherry Ewing I loved it.
I received this as a gift, and voluntarily reviewed it.
And yes, I do recommend to family and friends, it is a nice sweet romance.
Lady Grace DeCourteney is a widow, more interested in the improvement of her mind than finding her next husband. Nicholas Lacy is a widower who is looking for a mother for his young daughter... One night a risqué masquerade brings the two unlikely characters together as they share a midnight kiss, and experience sparks like neither of them have felt before. Before identities are revealed, Grace leaves in a fit of fury after being propositioned for a single night of passion ... leaving Nicholas with questions about his mystery lady.
They meet again and somehow recognize eachother... sparks fly again. Will the two finally give in to their passion? Or will Lady Grace let her hurt pride endanger the possibility of the greatest love she's ever known?
A Kiss for Charity is a charming Christmas novella from Sherry Ewing! It was previously released in part of the Bluestocking Belle's Boxed Set "Holly and Hopeful Hearts." This edition is the writers cut and features extended and bonus scenes filled with swoon.... Shall we say his name... Aldridge...
