Kirkland Ciccone is the author of several books of weird punk fiction for teenagers. He is currently working on his debut novel for adults (TBA). Growing up on a diet of weird fiction, Kirkland decided to be his own favourite author and write cult books, the sort he would read. With luck, other people might read his books too.
His first novel CONJURING THE INFINITE is a greatest hits mix of all the things that freaked out Kirkland when he was growing up; Doctor Who, Twin Peaks, Stephen King, people dressed in brown trousers...
His second novel is ENDLESS EMPRESS, which has been described as 'sick' and 'unreadable'. It's Kirkland's personal favourite. Don't buy it.
His third novel is NORTH OF PORTER, which is a story about a teenage boy with a handbag who finds himself battling a serial killer in a small town. It isn't Kirkland's autobiography.
His newest novel for teens is GLOWGLASS, a tale about a girl from a strange religious cult whose dream is to live out her Sweet Valley High fantasy at a normal school. Sadly, there is no such thing, and instead she finds herself in the midst of a porridge massacre and a twisted battle for popularity and money.
A writer and performer, Kirkland Ciccone has toured and appeared at many festivals over the country. His forthcoming novel for adults is coming soon.
