Kinnie is my favourite refreshing drink. "No wonder" some might say.... "you are Maltese !!".

Yes I am, however this does not influence my opinion. In fact I am quite surprised to see so many positive reviews. I used to think that it was more of an acquired taste rather than liking it the first time you try it. The taste is a bit difficult to explain: Bitter sweet with a hint of orange. No matter how hard I've tried I still do not know the recipe. All they say is that it is a herbal mixture with no added artificial colouring. It has been a secret since 1952, when Cisk introduced this beverage.

I used to miss it so much when living in Italy and with all the airport security regulations it was next to impossible to get a decent quantity over. It's so funny to remember how we used to ration it. A couple of sips a day as though it were some hundred year old Scotch, only that by the 3rd day it would go completely flat ! Eventually I did discover Chinotto which has a slight similarity to the Kinnie flavour but switched to Colas till I got back to Malta.

Unlike most soft drinks, Kinnie has a like it or hate it flavour. However if you get the opportunity I suggest you try it. Don't forget to add a slice of unpeeled orange. Then just close your eyes and imagine you're on a sunny sandy beach

This is lovely. It is just as good as the "fat" Kinnie, and i will definitely be replenishing the stocks before I polish it all off. If you are having doubts as whether to get the "diet" Kinnie, i would say yes. I ordered one of each, and i actually prefer the diet one.

I think it must be an acquired taste though....My children and husband don't like at all, but I wouldn't say thats a bad thing (more for ME!)

Its so nice being able to drink this here in the UK, just need some hobz-bil-zejt to go with it, oh and some sunshine! .

As always, with Amazon, it arrived promptly, In good packaging.

Very happy :-)

a burst of tangy orange with aromatic herbs - what a refreshing drink! I visited Malta for the first time this year and in the hotel was greeted by a wrm reception and handed a kinnie drink with a slice of orange - fell in love!

The national soft drink of Malta and Gozo, Kinnie is a delicious non-alcoholic slightly sparkling brew that is remarkably similar to Pimms. Herbs mingle with zesty orange to provide a refreshing and decidedly 'grown up' alcohol-free tipple that quenches the thirst and conjures up the sun-drenched islands of Kinnie's homeland.

I can drink this product any time of the day. It is excellent on its' own or used as a mixer. It is very refressing and there is nothing I like better. My family enjoy it too and I shall keep buying it as it is my favourite drink. You should try it!!

I tasted Kinnie for the first time this year on holiday in Malta. I love it. It's the only non alcholic drink that I've tasted, other than water, that goes with food. It feels like a grown up drink. If I'm the DD I don't feel left out. I wish retsaurants and pubs sold it.

I love Kinnie and so was deeply disappointed when I was told that I was diabetic and so diet drinks (which I hate) was what I was to drink. I ordered 1 lot of 12 and was expecting not to like them - NO more Kinnie. but when they arrived and I tried them I was surprised they are great no yukky diet drink taste just wonderful Kinnie. so I can go on drinking my Kinnie both here and in Malta and not have to worry about sugar.
