      These are very small and good quality SSDs which have proved totally reliable in daily use on my laptop which has a smallish inbuilt disk. They fit easily in the laptop case or a pocket and have a good reputation for longevity. The 2 TB capacity offers better value and by having 2 different SSDs you halve the risk of any future loss or disasters. They read and write very quickly, far faster than any HD and although an older model they have proved to be a very good investment.

      The media could not be loaded.
      Its small at just 7cm x 3cm, weighs next to nothing. The supplied USB-A to USB-C cable is about 25cm long. The 1TB storage comes in at about 931GB which is about standard for USB usable storage. An SSD so no moving parts to wear out or jam up. Bought from the Kingston store and delivered by Amazon the next day.

      I created an exact 10GB data block and moved it via a USB (A)-3 port from my PC to the Kingston drive in around 15 seconds with steady transfer rates averaging about 640Mb/s. I moved it back from the Kingston Drive to my PC in about 10 seconds with steady transfer rates averaging about 960Mb/s.

      The transfer speeds are greatly dictated by the ability of the PC to push out/take in the data, the USB port capabilities and their drivers. If the PC buffers the transfer rate will drop off

      Used it for a couple of months now, I’m constantly transferring different date from my Mac to this SSD and I can confidently say that it’s performing very well. Only thing I’m sceptical about is its durability, the outside feels like cheap plastic which will break if you drop. Overall if you don’t need it to be super durable and just looking for a high speed SSD I recommend this product!
