The item was delivered quickly, and installed easily. I used it to double the existing RAM and it was not a matching pair (the existing one having been supplied with the machine) either way there have been no problems and it has been in there for a month at the time of writing this note. Performance has increased, as you would imagine moving to 8Gb with Windows 8.1.

I received this from Amazon Warehouse - the memory I received was actually DDR3L 1.35V not DDR3 as advertised. This worked fine in my Haswell cpu laptop but you should check compatibility before ordering. Intel Sandy Bridge cpus will require regular DDR3 1.5V memory but it should work in Ivy Bridge and later laptops.
