Wow the quality of these kingston data travellers is somewhat impressive. While the other manufacturers are cutting the cost of manufacture assandisk are, kingston are certainly not. The build quality is second to none with a proper sturdy encasement while the metal usb plug are very well manufactured and look like they will last a lifetime.

As for the price for a 32gig stick they dont cost much more than the cheap and cheerfull china jobs that always lose data. USB 3.1 too so double quick with data transfer. You honestly cant beat em they are a steal. I was a sandisk fanboy but not anymore. Well reccomended. You cant be dissapointed with these badboys. 👍😁

Seems like a bargain. I wasn't looking for an super fast flash drive, but I didn't want a slow one either. This seems to be a good balance between capacity/speed and price. I went for the 32GB one for about £8, supplied by Amazon.

I wasn't using any fancy benchmarking software, just what Windows 8 tells you the rate is as you copy stuff about. I was copying a large, 15GB, single file between machines. Windows 8 reported nearly 40MB/s write speed, and about 80MB/s read. That was writing via USB2 (source machine) and reading from USB3 on the destination machine.

I did do one generic "backup to this drive", where lots of smaller files where involved, and the write performance did drop dramatically, but I really wanted it as a simple way to move large files between machines.

This is a thin USB drive so it fits in the front panel of a computer as well as the front or back panel of various set top boxes. A 32 GB drive helps me make several Freeview recordings using Freeview HD Set top boxes. This drive has been recommended by Netgem TV on their website so that's why I bought these. Also notice the red circle at the end of the drive which helps us to remove the drive from USB ports. At the other end, we have the USB drive cap that protects the connector. When using the USB drives it helps to learn what the equipment offers us to eject the drives safely, whether it's a computer or a set top box, so check the various settings and Menus to find how to do this...

The design of these is great. They are not as small as some others, and not as fast as some others, BUT the loop means you can easily attach them to a keyring or lanyard. The best thing about them is the colour - white. It means I can write (with a sharpie) what the contents of the memory stick is. I have a lot of memory sticks - I can not understand why they are usually made in black. White is so much easier for labeling them. This is my memory stick of choice and they have never failed me. The cost is also a big factor - if the kids take a couple to school and loose them (which happens a lot) the cost is so little that it doesn't matter. A great all rounder.

Great product with very good transfer speeds. I can assure you that this product is very much all that it says. I have found no faults with this. The only thing that may lead people astray from this product is that fact that the whole thing is made entirely out of plastic. I really like the fact that the cover which can be removed can be put onto the back of the flash drive. The reason I opted for a USB with a cover was to protect it from any damage. The lid has great grip and can be taken off with relative ease.
