This is an excelent pop-punk album from home grown, with a great intro track and excelent songs such as 'Give it up', 'your not alone' and my favourite, 'Tomorrow'
Home Grown have a lot of potential and have produced an album that any punk fan should have in his or her collection! With catchy lyrics and brilliant guitar riffs its one of my favourite albums! 5 stars!!

I really did not know what to expect from this album, basin my purchase on hearing "you're not alone", i was expecting a typical one song album, but i was surprised, this is a very impressive album every song is well put together, and this is a must for any Pop/Emo punk fan.

You can tell that HomeGrown aren't 100% serious from their bling-writing and mocking title "Kings of Pop". While known for their hit "You're Not Alone", there are many tracks overlooked on this album.
Coming from, no doubt, the best new-skool-punk-rock labels, drive-thru (New Found Glory, Alister) homegrown prove themselves to be worthy of the label through their opening of "Tomorrow" and songs such as "Give it Up", "Cannot Stop the World" and "Love You, Not" (wittingly titled). Half joking, half serious - this is deffinetly a great album to buy if you're into any band from Blink-182 to Jimmy Eat World.

Home Grown, though fairly unheard of deserve to be recognized, if only for the fact that they produce upbeat and meaningful songs, which have got some good guitar riffs.
Home Grown is definatly worth a listen and i doubt that anyone who's bought the albumn will comtest this.

maybe not, that mantra probably belongs to someone like s club 7. No, home grown are however definitely something akin to kings of pop-punk rock. Every track on this immense record is filled with rocking guitar riffs, bouncing choruses and sing along tunes that will keep you engrossed for literally months. Tomorrow opens in a typically fast manner with a superb riff cutting in that makes you want to jump around like a lunatic! I love you, not, why won't you leave me? and second best stand out from the others, but each track is a quality punk song in itself, and it all ads up to a superb album. Get it if you like anything like: blink-182, allister, greenday, left front tire, sum 41, millencolin, lit, lucky 7 or offspring.

Home Grown are your classic pop-punk outit. They formed when they were really young, come from california and play what you expect them to. THis album does have some pretty good pop punk/power pop songs in it with surprisingly little filler. Good production and vocals and a lack of the emo that creeped into more recent pop punk -including latter home grown themselves- make it enjoyable. The main question is whether or not you want to listen to it in the first place. I did want to listen to simple pop punk but some of the songs are better than simple, such as "tomorrow", "give it up" and "my time alone", showing a less immature side to the band with "dealling with more mature subject matter" as all the bands from the ninties ended up doing.
It wont change your life but it might bright out a less concernig side unlike the more politiced bands.
Overall i'm really glad that i bought this For the price i'd say its worth it.
