I have read this book twice - once myself and also to a younger friend. It moves well, has good character development and is a joy to read! I highly recommend it!

An outstanding publication by the dynamic duo, Christine Le, and Michel Le.
Thoughtfully written and beautifully illustrated tale of an emotional and

This is an excellent book! I was drawn into the story right from the beginning. It is very well-written and quite clever. The author does a fabulous job of communicating deep spiritual truths in a way that is easy for a younger reader to understand.
5.0 out of 5 stars Kingdom of Nain 11 Jun. 2013
By M. A. A. Hobbs - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is a wonderful gracious book about a little girl, Elisha, magically transported to the Kingdom of Nain. Ideal for children between the agest of 6 to 12. It is a magic kingdom and the tale is exciting and at the same time, a religious tale gently informative about the kingdom of God. All sorts of extraordinary things happen on her journies. Also beautifully illustrated in Black and white by the same artist that illustrated the beautiful story of 'The Hawaiian Snowman'in color, a Christmas story about a melting snowman going to Hawaii, also written by Christine Le. Fantastic price of $6.75 with, I understand, profits going to charity. Of course obtainable at Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars great for young and old 3 Oct. 2014
By Thinking Reader - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I bought this to give to my grandchildren, but wanted to read it first myself. While written in a style that should really appeal to children, I thoroughly enjoyed it even as an "Older Person". Presents concepts and moral values that are easy to grasp. I like the fact that it was an easy and quick read -- the type that you can actually imagine reading out loud to your children, or in my case, reading with a cup of coffee without getting lost and putting down never to return to. Look forward to more in the series!
5.0 out of 5 stars helpful and fun to read 6 Jun. 2013

My nine year old daughter and I both read this book. We loved it. It is a story of a young girl who goes on an adventure to discover how to have a friendship with God. The story itself is good, the characters are well written, and along the way the reader and the girl discover the basics of knowing God. The thology in the book is good, solid, orthodox Christian. The book presents knowing God as a relationship rather than as rule following (which I wish I had understood as a child). I recommend the book for any child.
