Product description

I was honestly shocked at how much I enjoyed reading “The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand” by author Craig A. Reid. I have read many, many, many books on spirituality and Christianity and with varying degrees of satisfaction. Either I feel like I am just reading the same old recycled ideas over and over again, or that the author can come across as too “preachy” (pardon the pun), or highbrow, or holier-than-thou. (Again, pardon) and the actual message gets lost in the author’s ego.  However, I thought it was a nice change and Mr. Reid’s author ‘voice’ was more like how a friend or trusted confidante would talk to you… a much wiser learned friend or confidante! I like that he actually pointed out… and addressed… some issues that I’ve wondered myself over the years, and while I may not totally agree with absolutely everything (naturally), so much made sense and reading books like this by others who feel the same is something that gives me peace and strength. This is a powerful and provocative treatise; not one to be rushed, but one to be savored, analyzed, and pondered upon. Almost scary how much truth lies within these pages, even if it probably won’t change the minds of real hardliners. That’s okay there are plenty of people (like me) who appreciate new perspectives! Thank you for writing this and I look forward to reading more books from Craig Reid in the future! (4 stars) Steph Coleman – Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers

One of the more unique books I’ve read all year, and hands down one of the most impactful with regards to Christian Biblical End Times beliefs and how as Christians to prepare. “The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand” by Craig Reid is certainly not a quick, breezy read, nor should it be. There are some complex – and controversial - concepts here that require, and receive, a closer examination and speculation from a different perspective. I was drawn into the author’s premise about questioning some common beliefs of Biblical events in scripture and reinterpreting in a new manner, and why this changes how we look at things like the Rapture in relation to timing with Antichrist and the Great Tribulation, among other key events from Revelations. The author does a phenomenal job of providing crucial insight from a scholarly, biblical, and personal point of view. Drawing from the Bible and examine the contents in a religious context in a straightforward, comprehensive manner. There are some valuable lessons and stories here, and the writing is excellent. Looking forward to more from Craig Reid. (4-5 stars) Jason Thackery – Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers

I thought this was brilliantly crafted and plotted with meticulous attention to facts and detail and religious interpretation done in a way that is readable, entertaining, and spiritually enlightening. Engaging and compelling prose to guide us through the examinations of the Bible passages Craig Reid pulls to make his points and reframe the traditional narrative regarding the End-Time Prophesies – mainly with regards to timing to consider different sequencing. Whether you take the Scripture from the Bible literally or figuratively, or even not at all, there are some very powerful arguments and stories here worthy of serious consideration. I liked the intimate tone of the author and his willingness to take on a topic from a unique perspective that some will not want to hear. I for one think it is vital that we open ourselves to all contingencies and that way we are best prepared for them all.  Thank you to Craig Reid for this book, and I do hope to read more from him in the future . (5 stars) Brenda Maxwell – Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers

Will Jesus return physically to this earth? Will Christians be living on earth when the antichrist is revealed? What does the Bible say about the rapture? In this most comprehensive analysis of the Bible's End Time Prophecies, Mr.Reid presents a remarkably insightful and straight-forward explanation of what is to come in the last days. Drawing heavily from both Old and New Testament prophecies, the author lays out the events of the last days, beginning with the 70th week of Daniel, and continuing through the advent of the New Jerusalem; addressing in detail the timing of the rapture with respect to the Great Tribulation and the Millennium. This book is unique in its handling of the book of Revelation. John's vision of the end times is divided into four individual sequences of events. While each of the four sequences cover different time spans, events within each of the sequences progress in chronological order. Therefore, upon harmonizing the four sequences, the end time calendar unfolds neatly and consistently. "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh" (Matthew 24:44). Though no one knows the exact day and time, this book will help prepare you for what lies ahead in the last days.
