This book was very intresting it's not overly long but a must read if you a fan of these types of wrestling books, It also gave me a insight in to what type of guy Harley Race was. I have heard many wrestler's over the years saying Haku that's 'Meng' WCW persona for other people who don't know who he is stating that he was the toughest guy out there, but reading some of the stories and s*** that this has gone through I was have to say that it would have been a good fight had these two guys fought each other.

Compared to other books like jericho's and The hitman's its not too detailed but worth a read all the same.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok 5 Mar. 2015

Really nothing new here. Sometimes it is disappointing me when these guys try to say they have changed for the better at the end. Maybe he has but I would rather him tell more stories than tell me how he found God and it changed his life, etc, etc, etc. Best wrestling books are the ones that keep this type of commentary out of it.
That being said, it's wrestling and I love the books. You always learn something new and hear another version of something you read before. It did have me laughing out load a few times.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Very Happy With This Book. 12 Aug. 2016

5 stars is not enough. I opened the cover and found it was personally signed by Harley Race. I am thrilled with this purchase. Not only a great read, but signed by The King of the Ring himself. You can't beat that.

5.0 out of 5 stars NWA World Heavyweight Champion 5 Jan. 2012

Great book must read if your fan of late 70's and 80's wrestling scene. Besides Flair, Race history and inner knowledge of pro wretling is worth 100times more than what I paid ($6) for the price of the book. Race and Flair traveled across USA overseas and into evry po-dunk dive hole in the wall u can think of. The stories and insights shared by Race made me feel priviliged and dam proud to have been a wrestling fan for my last 30+ yrs.

5.0 out of 5 stars King of typewriter as well 18 Jan. 2005

I really loved reading this book. It came straight from the heart and there was no question that Harley wrote it. Just a great autobio of a great wrestling career. He's honest, pulls no punches, and makes you wish for a video of his career. Write another book, Harley.

One of best wrestling books I've read! Good stories from the road! No punches pulled by one of the toughest of the wrestling legends! Highly recommend it!
