Product Description

They are packaged in an eco-friendly cardboard box lined with tissue paper and will have your open fire, log burning stove, chiminea, fire pit, fire bowl, brazier, multi fuel stove or camp fire blazing in minutes. The Kindlecone is so beautiful that you won't want to burn it! They look great on display and will give off their scent even before you use them. Handmade in Warwickshire the Kindlecone is a great idea to save you from buying chemical fire lighters and it is a whole lot better for your family's health. Soy wax gives off 90% less soot than paraffin firelighters which is better for your chimney or flue. It is important to note that these are firelighters, not candles! How to use 1. Place the kindlecone in the middle of your fire grate, bowl, hearth etc. 2. Lay kindling up against the kindlecone to make a pyramid shape - "the pointy mountain" ! 3. Light the wick of the kindlecone. 4. Leave the door slightly ajar whilst the kindling ignites, dependant on stove manufacturer's instructions, to allow the wonderful aroma that is released to permeate your living space. 5. When the kindling is fully ignited, lay fresh kindling on top followed by your chosen fuel - logs, coal, peat etc. 6. Close the door and pour yourself a nice cup of tea ! WARNING: Never leave fires unattended. Do not eat. Keep away from children and pets.

My wife purchased these kindle cones as a Christmas gift and whilst initially I was impressed with their aesthetics and the scent they give off with all of them together in the box I have to state quite categorically that they DO NOT WORK when lit as a method to scent the room as per their marketed description!!! I followed all of the instructions to the letter and was left extremely disappointed with the distinct LACK of aroma. The only way to get a smell permeating the room is to leave all of the cones out in the open throughout the room unlit. As far as I am concerned these are just novelty expensive fire lighters that DO NOT do what they say on the tin. Whilst they may be eco friendly there are certainly cheaper alternatives out there that don't con you into believing they will fill your living room with a warm smell. Customers services basically refused to believe that they didn't work and inferred that I was lighting them incorrectly. They wouldn't offer any money back or replacement of the goods due to a lack of customer satisfaction.

I bought these after reading about them in a magazine. They are okay but not as good as I expected - they smell quite nice but I would have liked them to be a little stronger.

I buy these cones as a gift every year for a family member who has a log burner - she absolutely loves them. The smell of them makes the whole room feel so warm and homely.

I ordered these as a reminder of trips I took to cape cod years ago during snowy winters, where I would sit by a fire and enjoy the smell of various fragrances. Now available in the UK manufactured by a family business to a very high standard I would be happy to recommend kindle cone. Customer service was very good and I enjoyed the sample of other products they sent. Works well without the fake fire lighter smell. Beautifully packaged a great idea as a gift to anyone who enjoys a real fire. Well done!
