This was another great story in the Summer Sisters Series. That I enjoyed reading very much. As not only did it hook me in from the very start. But I loved AJ and Sawyer, and I felt the sparks from the moment they were reunited.

Not to mention, there was plenty of flirty banter as they got to know each other. And I particularly adored Sawyers brand of slow deduction before their first date. Plus, this story was sweet, sexy, entertaining and a little angsty. Thanks to the reappearance of Sawyers ex.

It was also great to catch up with the rest of the sisters, including Megan. Whose story is still to come. As well as AJ's grandparents Emma and Orval. Who from the very beginning are as crazy and hilarious as ever. Yet Sawyer dealt with them both brilliantly. And I really can't wait to read more from this series, and I would happily recommend My Kinda Player and the series itself to others.

Loved this book. This time it is AJ's turn to find love. There are a few bumps along the way and if possible the Summer sisters grandparents get even more hilarious. The closeness and love between everyone in the family shines through. Megan's story has been left until the end and I hope we don't have to wait too long for it.

My Kinda Player is the fifth book in the Summer Sisters series by the very talented Lacey Black. I have read every word she has ever written and I will continue until she writes her very last one. You can read each book as a standalone but I do recommend reading the series so you get to meet and fall in love with this family and their delicious men.

It all started in a bar...the night didn’t end like it was expected to but that doesn’t mean that Sawyer and AJ didn’t leave a lasting impression on each other. They didn’t think they would see each other again. He was just a man in town for a weekend in the summer. That was until he landed the job as the new PE teacher/baseball coach at the junior high. Where AJ works as the eight grade math teacher.

Sawyer is definitely hot for teacher. He wanted her the night he saw her in Lucky’s. He has thought about her a lot over the last month. Now that he was in her town for good this is his chance to do this right. To charm her. To woo her. To show her that he isn’t the player that he was made out to be. That he is just a ball player not a cheating, liar, womanizing one. Will she give him a chance?

AJ didn’t care about his stats. She didn’t even realize he was that Sawyer Randall. She didn’t want to get hurt. She kissed enough toads for a lifetime but something about him was different. He was putting himself out there. He didn’t hide his intentions. He wanted her. Hell...she wanted him. There was no hiding it. Her blush betrayed her if she tried. She didn’t want to hide it but can she trust him? Like they say...once a player, always a player.

Sawyer and AJ’s relationship is off the charts explosive! It’s always fun, sweet, and beautiful. Their connection. Their chemistry, Their banter. It’s everything. It’s not an easy road though...

I absolutely loved their story! Sawyer is swoon-worthy times ten. AJ is funny and knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say it. That is what I love about this couple. They say what they want. Sometimes. Most of the time.

Overall...it’s a perfect addition to the series! It’s full of laughter, family, love, heat, and emotions. I just love this family. Yes, the grandparents are crazy inappropriate but that is why I love them.

AJ is one of the quiet sisters but has a wild side to her. I’ve loved her through all the other books and couldn’t wait to finally read her story. She’s fun, sassy, and has a heart of of gold.
Sawyer is a hot hunky retired MLB player starting all over in a new city, and was amazing to read about, considering what he had to deal with being a famous person even if he wasn’t in the lime light anymore.
The chemistry between these two was literally bouncing off the pages and kept me flipping through until I finished.
I love how tightly the whole group is in this book as well as the rest, and seeing how the boys were with Sawyer.
As per the usual the Grandparents has me laughing out loud at their shenanigans and how they deal with life in general.
Lacey, this book was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to see what comes next for Meghan!

Well the summers family are an dirty bunch but I kinda love them. Although grandma and grandpa take some getting use too.
