Product Description

Review

'The kick-off to Goodhind's new mystery series - fast moving with a likeable heroine and an impeccably rendered Bath background...' Kirkus Reviews (USA) on Something in the Blood 'Sometimes it is the location alone makes you curious about a detective novel...Jean G Goodhind in her debut novel has added much more than that - a droll plot and a lot of British humour...' Brigitte Magazine - Germany on Mord ist schlecht furs Geschaft (Something in the Blood) 'Quirky characters and intriguing goings-on in my favourite city, Bath. J G Goodhind's wonderful books are crying out to be made into a TV series. An absolute treat!' Jill Mansell on Walking with Ghosts.

I enjoyed this book. In addition to all the twists and turns that made me sit up half the night to read it, there were also some interesting historical details which I didn't know, and I loved the characters. I'll be reading more of these books.

Another great book from Jean Goodhind. Honey Driver s the sort of 40something woman we would all love to be. Excellent, well written, the ending never too obvious and funy too. Please write lots more Jean!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the best in the series so far. Found the storyline slightly ridiculous at times. I will continue to read these stories as the characters are very likeable, and unlike some murder mysteries are not too gory.

The writing is quirky and original and the on-going relationship between Honey and the detective, Steve, continues to progress tantalisingly without being in your face. A really lovely read.

Once again a good read. The plot this time I thought a little weak. The characters remain funny and addictive.

It was good to reconnect with Honey Driver and the city of Bath.

I love this new cover and think this is probably the funniest of the Honey Driver novels. The title was my idea. The original title was that of the publisher at that time.

Strongly recommended, the saga gets better with every new book. For those who don't enjoy it, I suggest leaving it to those of us that do! Sour grapes maybe?
