Killer camera is about a boy who goes to a carboot sale where he buys a camera. Then it ends up being evil because whatever you take a picture of it dies. It is a thrilling story and think it is great. The ending will suprise you.

A spooky tale full of suspense!

Our 10 year old loves Anthony Horowitz and was delighted with this book, even had me reading it too!

There are two tales in the paperback both not too long but full of suspense, The Killer Camera tells the tale of a camera bought at a carboot sale, the ending, not quite what I was expecting, even better.

The Computer tale, well makes you look at your own in a different light.

For the price for two tales of horror a good one.

This book got read in one day (well one morning as our son just couldn't put the book down). Then told me just how good it was that I then ended up reading it. He is now on another one which features a Victorian bath, so looking forward to reading that next.

What I will say though is that your youngester will be able to read horror but without any really horrific or bad language in it, which does not spoil the stories as they are told in a way that even adults would appreciate, I know I did. A bit like 'Tales of the Unexpected' a tv show that was on a good few years back, has you guessing, and just wondering if there will be a twist or not. Just goes to show that swearing and graphic violence are not always needed to create a great read.

Well being a fan of the author Im going to be biased in his favour anyway.
I brought this book on the strength of the name.
I definately wasnt disapointed in the least and the ending made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up- fantastic.
Although this man writes for children I adore his books. This would suit adults as well who dont have a lot of time for reading but still enjoy it.
Ive ordered the rest of the series and have pre ordered the next installment of The order of five so I wont miss out.
Dont take my word for it read it yourself!!

I have nothing specific to say about this particular book as all books by Horowitz are brilliant. I started reading his books as a teenager (translated in Dutch) and now regularly buy one of his books in English to try and re-read his entire collection, as well as catch up on the newer books. Truly the best youth author out there!

I don't really like reading, but found this book absolutely brilliant. It was scary at some points, it made me want read on till I finished it. It was a race against time at the end. I consider this a great book for children who like horror or something different.

I have read another book by Anthony Horrowitz (Stormbreaker), and this book is completely different. It has two different short stories. I enjoyed them so much, I have ordered the next two books by Anthony Horrowitz.
