A spooky tale full of suspense!
There are two tales in the paperback both not too long but full of suspense, The Killer Camera tells the tale of a camera bought at a carboot sale, the ending, not quite what I was expecting, even better.
The Computer tale, well makes you look at your own in a different light.
For the price for two tales of horror a good one.
This book got read in one day (well one morning as our son just couldn't put the book down). Then told me just how good it was that I then ended up reading it. He is now on another one which features a Victorian bath, so looking forward to reading that next.
What I will say though is that your youngester will be able to read horror but without any really horrific or bad language in it, which does not spoil the stories as they are told in a way that even adults would appreciate, I know I did. A bit like 'Tales of the Unexpected' a tv show that was on a good few years back, has you guessing, and just wondering if there will be a twist or not. Just goes to show that swearing and graphic violence are not always needed to create a great read.
I brought this book on the strength of the name.
I definately wasnt disapointed in the least and the ending made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up- fantastic.
Although this man writes for children I adore his books. This would suit adults as well who dont have a lot of time for reading but still enjoy it.
Ive ordered the rest of the series and have pre ordered the next installment of The order of five so I wont miss out.
Dont take my word for it read it yourself!!
I have read another book by Anthony Horrowitz (Stormbreaker), and this book is completely different. It has two different short stories. I enjoyed them so much, I have ordered the next two books by Anthony Horrowitz.

I loved this book but I would be happier with my purchase if it had more stories in it but all in all a very good bookPublished on 30 Dec. 2012 by Henry Webster
The quality of the paper and cover is standard for a paperback. As regards the text itself I await the verdict of the child. She has yet to tackle the story.Published on 8 Jan. 2012 by mcm15
